Halo 2

Featured Replies

Has anyone here played Halo 2 on XBox Live since the day of it's release?

And if yes have you been as dissapointed as me?

Yes, i've played it on Xbox Live since it's release, and hell no I have not been disappointed.

But it's SO easy to exploit.

With things as minor as super bouncing, to BxR's, BxB's, Double Shot's, IP blocking and team standbying.

It's not even the game it used to be.

BTW do you play MLG?

Give me a game that isn't bugged and has zero exploits. Point is it was a fun game to play online with your friends and almost anyone can be good at it (a good and bad thing). I had a lot of good times playing that game on LIVE.

Sure you can doublebounce and stuff, but as long as everyone can I don't consider it cheating, and standbying improved a lot over the months I played it, and it usually was never an issue for me.

Yes I played MLG rules too.

Superbouncing seems fine with me as everyone can do it if they learn how. As for standby and the other glitches, those are found in almost every game that goes online. No game is going to be 100 percent flawless and Halo 2 is doing a pretty good job for being "incomplete" as the bungie staff said.

But in Halo they take it to the point where they get on and block you're IP from the game, people can steal people's accounts, and stuff such as Double Shotting and BxR's? That's just bad programming.

I mean I love the game and all, but I'm just hoping Halo 3 won't be such a let down.

And as for standbying getting better over time, a year in to the game I was rank 24 in the world on the leaderboards for slayer, and up that high, cheating never got better. :?

Do we really need a topic every week about this game?

Why, if you've played it every day since release and are disappointed, are you still playing it?

I love it. And I'm DL'ing the two new maps, Tombstone and Desolation. Off to check them out when it's done!

Edit: Hah. It's June 28th now. I'm a beast at Tombstone and I'm pretty good at Swat in Desolation. I like the maps. =D>

cmonj people add me on xbox live :(:(:(:(

I would be playing Halo 2 alot more, had it not been for two things. The first of them is Gears of War. The second is the fact that with the two new maps, there aren't many game modes you can play. BTW, I never even tried to play the game on live until after the Halo 3 Beta ended and the new maps were released. Now I try to play it since glitching is almost completely eliminated from Gears :boohoo:

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

I'll add you :) but is your GT "Beer Me Cpatain" or was that just a typo and it's "Beer Me Captain?"

A run for my money eh? We'll see about that 8-)

I have bought Halo 2 yesterday, mustve been the only Halo 2 around.

Its a great game, but I have no idea where to buy Live Memberships. I think they removed it from the stores, because of the Xbox 360 -.-

GLITCHING ELIMINATED FROM GEARS??? MADNESS!

...this is sparta.....

Uh...to be honest, there are plenty of gitches in gears. Chainsaw auto-kills, shotgun-chainsaw, sliding weapon-swap, super-jump, roadie run shooting, unlimited grenade-tags, and the list goes on. Its frustrating actually, that every time Epic releases a new patches that fixes out old glitches, the loser glitchers just look for new ones. Hopefully Epic will iron out the bad ones soon for good....

And i recently managed to walk while chainsawing someone. Ill have to refine it.

Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
