May 10, 200719 yr It's the same as how the other one worked. Can this problem be looked into if it is not already? Almost everytime I post I get this message: Could not connect to smtp host : 110 : Connection timed out The post still posts though. I just get this message on the same screen as, 'Return to Forum" and, "Return to Post", or where you would see, "This post is locked", "You cannot make another post yet". But what is this error, I'm getting it on both of my computers, on FireFox? Me doing staff.

May 10, 200719 yr It's more than likely some lingering problems with the mail servers that was announced recently. May 17, 200719 yr Anything involving 'mail' or 'smtp' means the boards chocked when trying to do something email related. While posting, it's usually because people are watching topics or requested reply notices. I don't know what exact that particular error is, but it is nothing major to worry about (broken mail doesn't prevent posting). It's something for the admins to fix, but nothing for the users to be worried about. Just a bit of degraded functionality that doesn't effect posting or viewing topics.
