Best Source of Big Bones....?

Featured Replies

I need a place to camp out and kill monsters for big bones.

I tried my hand at Green Dragons, but the cost of food and trips to the bank got annoying.

So, where is a good place to camp out and collect those big-bones?

Well it really depends on your level, what you are useing, and how long you can be there.

If you are rangieng, you might try to hit fire giants, because they are always good, and you can usually find a world that doesn't have anyone there, you really just wanna range them or hally them unless you are like 90+.

If you are a little lower, You can try the moss giants in the Varrok sewer, but when I fought moss giants I liked to take them down at crandor, usually nobody there.

Hope I could help

I was hoping to melee them, 61 attack, 55 strength, 43 defence, 27 prayer.

fire giants are a no no at ur lvs, but if you really need big bones, and dont mind banking, head to talvery dungeon, there is a bunch of hill giants that is almost 24/7 empty

Ogres.

cyclops in warriors guild once you get the levels. Nearly everyone leaves their bones on the ground. Plus you can get a lvl 3 clue and some defenders :D

You could try the Big Bone respawns in the wildy graveyard.

Central east side. IIRC, has about 3 or 4 that respawn along with regular bones.

It is in the multi-player PK area though.

Jagex does like to encourage playing ganking...

Hope this helps

Thats what I was doing, but I do it in f2p. And most f2p PKers are pushovers, so I might keep doing that.

By the way green draons don't drop Big Bones, they drop dragon bones. -.-

I'd say at your level melee? Probley Moss Giants, or Hill Giants, try the Hills first, if you get hit to offen go to the Moss.

I know, thats why I went killing them >_>

But I decided Dragon Bones were to hard to get and I'm switching to big bones.

Easier and less risky way to do this: pick flax, make bs, and sell. then buy big bones with the money you make. i did it on my pure and got 66 prayer.

F2P

depending on the prices you get, dragon bones are probably cheaper to buy.

I bought 850 d bones today at 1200 ea. I'm not too sure on the price of big bones, but they seem to be 300+ from what I've seen on the RS forums (although there's always someone trying to buy cheaper, the major sellers go for 300+)

D bones are about 16 gold per xp & take less to get the level, and big bones take about 20 gold per xp & take more time to level. :/

That's if you want to buy them though. I'd say try the hill giants (a little past the grand tree entrance), or mossies northwest of ard... It's probably not hard to bank there anyway

Hillies or in the wild there's a strip of skeletons and bones with big bones laying all over. In like 2-3 passes you can get a full inventory without having to kill anything. I found hillies the best though.

hillies are good when not crowded, but hill giant spots are very popular...

the strip in wildy, is good for bones and bb, but no combat xp. I rather combine skill training, then just focusing on 1 skill.
