M.O.M Maze Theory

Theory:

My theory is that if you get the maze random event while doing a sertain skill, you get that as a reward for completing it. for example i was mining at mining guild, and i recieved teh event. i got 25 mith ore noted, and 100 coal. anotehr time i was maging at lessers and i got 92 deaths. Yet agian another time i was ranging at lessers and i got 400 steel.

This thoery doesn't always work, because i was mining and i got the random event and i got 400 or so chaos.

do you think my theory is right?

Please feel free to post your event rewards and share your opinions on this subject

P.S fastest time finished maze was at 92% or 93% i got right infront of the finish door and got 1.2k chaos \'

Not right, the reward is based on what maze you do and how fast you finish it.

well chaos=runes and alching=runes

I'm not saying he's right at all, in fact I think he's wrong, just pointing that out :-w

Maybe you're right to some extent. I did get 4k feathers from maze while fly fishing and during alching what I got was mainly chaos and deaths (which are runes)

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Kool, so you guys are saying i'm sometimes right and sometimes wrong?

guesse that proves my theory is 50/50...but i think for me its more 100%...cuz everytime i get reward its always teh thing i'm doing \'

I got 40 mith ore and 208 death runes while cutting an emerald not even 10 minutes ago.

I personally don't believe it factors in what you were doing at that moment, it just has a set list of rewards and supplies them randomly depending on your percentage.

Pure coincidence methinks. :P

I'd like to suggest that there may be a higher chance of getting the maze that gives a reward relating to what you are currently doing.

But seriously, there is a reason that it's called a random.

This is maninly to stop randoms but, 5% is what you said, 95% is time it takes you do do maze. This random i actully like, as I gained 500 deaths Alching.

The reward is completely random.

Your theory is completely wrong. (No offense)

The only rewards you can possible get are:

Noted ores

Feathers

Runes

Arrows

I have gotten this random event probably around 20 times, all while cooking, and they gave the same stuff. (Never any noted raw lobsters!)

So yes, your theory is wrong.

Btw, since theres a "%" for the prize, the reward always has to be stackable items.
