Featured Replies

im 1 everything except 30 range and 20 defence, how do i make money? i have 137k, could i buy something low, and sell for high. if i can, than what?

x supapkx- level 10 combat

woodcut- 18, firemaking-21, mining-21, smithing-16, crafting-18, fishing-34, cooking-35

The only way to make money with level 1 skills are to merchant, which is buy low sell high. I'm not a merchanter so I'm not going to go in-depth on that, but you should just start skilling to raise your skills, which is where the money is.

Or you could run essence to RC'ers, try world 66 to run laws

Whip drops: 9

Abyssal head drops: 3

Or in F2P, be an air runner on world 16..

Do rune mysteries quest, then run 25 un-noted esence to the air altar crafters - at busy times, it can take a while to catch a trade, and better have a few loads of ess back at the bank, as you WILL accidentally craft it yourself sometimes.

Anyway, the standard trade is 2k coins and 25 noted ess for your un-noted.

Some crafters deal in airs - 100, 125 or 150 airs and 25 noted ess.

Some other deal law runes there, 2 laws and 25 noted ess, though that puts a high side valuation on the laws - 1k each for them is the "desperation price" for singles.

With a stack of level 1's , also doing some other quests would be a bump:

Cooks assistant: cooking

Doric's quest: mining (buy or pickup 2 dropped iron ores, mine the rest)

Knight's Sword: smithing (needs a redberry pie - buy or level 10 cooking and 2 iron bars - buy, or get to level 15 smithing on bronze)

There are other F2P level assisting quests, but they don't help with "supply" levels.

Or even better: train your own runecrafting, and it will pay off after a while. (multiple runes per essence really bring in the cash for F2P players)

Buy deaths and chaos from rune shops. Sell chaos 150ea and deaths 300ea :D

ya, the only way to make good money is to train skillz

Hey, I may have quite Runescape, but I just bought an XBOX 360 and play way to much COD4 with the Gamertag Lava Mage

pick snape grass from waterbirth and bank with peer the seer. You have to get to the small favor part in the frem trials and not have that part finished

If you are f2p, try merchanting ores. Buy iron ores for 80-90 from banks and sell on forums for 110. Do the same with coal. Buy for 150-160 in fally east and sell for 180-190 on forums.

Also, you can try buying steel bars, smelting them into cannonballs (this requires dwarf cannon quest i think) and selling each cannonball for 200 (u make profit of 200 per bar). However, this will raise your smithing level..i dont know if u want that to happen or not.

If you're members, you could always try picking flax. Flax gives you no experience and can easily be sold for 100ea in large enough quantities.

don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?

Do rune mysterius quest.

You DON'T need this quest.. I tried it on my pure and I could enter the air altar without the quest.. You only need an air talisman and 25 ess.. My pures rc is 4 because somethimes I accidently clicked on the altar. I trained runecrafting without the quest :D

the best way - mechanting, that is, buy and sell

or you may try raising other skills like fishing or mining

woodcutting is not recommanded as willow don't sell much, every macorer got a rune axe and got high wc status, rendering a competition of cutting yews with them impossible in a f2p world

fishing is one major way for me to collect money (not much, in fact) The money raised can be your capital when you first try out mechanting. I tried fishing out and find it easy to earn, provided that your fishing level>30, cooking level >35 (so that you don't burn much)

Get 1k feathers for no more than 6.5k and buy a fly fishing rod if your fishing level is greater than 20. Fish and cook the fish, perferable near Barbarian village and bank in Edgeville. Once you get 100 fishes, sell them

Cooked Trout: 50ea Cooked Salmon: 85ea

fishing is fast and simple. If you are below 20 fishing, train it up! Everyone needs it, even you hate it.

fishing is pretty fast and don't have much to bother, and you may work on other items when you fish (remember to take a glimse on the screen regularly as random event may kill you)

Currently taking a break from Runescape

if ur a member just pick flax

We should add side skills, such as runecrafting and that would make arenascape addicting!
