New pixel siglet

Featured Replies

Well, I made this pixel sig. It's very bland because it's not really finished. I'm not sure if I'll finish it. Anyway, take a look

By the way, shading of the sky goes the other way, lightest being at the horizon (look outside one day :P) and yeah, the sun could use a bit of work. Overall it looks pretty nice, some more work on the tree trunks would be good, and maybe a better text, but yeah, it seems good :)

The sky is fine...the lightest is near the sun, because the sun is where the greatest light source is. I think you need to look outside one day.

The earth emits light back too. Therefore the air above the horizon is lighter then the air above that.

Also the sun emits huge amounts of light. So the right sky is light emitting from the sun AND the horizon.

lol one of the biggest pvp updates of the year, and tip it is discussing granite

Good job so far, I like it. Those palms look a bit too thin from the up, and the sky and sun is bit weird, otherwise good job! =D>

Wow, Very nice, you should turn it into more Runescapey by adding a chracter from RS Wearing a blue party hat but draw your own one to make it fit in and put some lobsters washed up on to the sand \'

Best Runescape Fansite made.

Lightest is near the sun. You're right, near the horizon, it is somewhat bright, but not the brightest. Just like I said.

Proud to be Mexican, yay!

Sorry everyone. It can go both ways as people have clearly stated, it depends on the circumstances :P I also read over my post and it seemed like I was being mean when I said go look outside one time. I in no why intended to be mean lol :P I just thought in my mind that it would be best to get further confirmation by looking outside next time you can lol :P Sorry if I offended you at all :P

Yes of course guys the sky seems lighter 'nearer to the sun'.. But its something completely different that makes the horizon paler.

You should always in ordinary circumstances have the change to lighter tone nearing closer to the horizon, its because we have a blue sky.. It's blue because of the density of of our atmosphere and the gases that make air, blue has a long wavelength so reaches our eyes first ahead of anyother colour in the spectrum. The whole of the sky is blue including in the distance because white light scatters within our atmosphere so wherever the light is scattered from in view blue will reach your eyes.

The reason why the blue seems paler closer to the horizon, is because the scattering rays have longer, but denser gases to travel through (gases are denser closest to the earth).. So arives at your eyes whiter.

Different times of the day change the circumstances of which the light travels through, which leaves a variation in sky colour but the horizon will always be paler.. But in essence you lot are kind of right when you say its lighter closer to the sun because as the sun rises or sets the horizons paleness will become more extreme because the sun is either on or nearing the horizon.. and obviously there wont be much light reaching the other side of the horizon leaving it darker..

Im not a wizz at this but I do know according to your image the lightest tone should be at the horizon.

take out the sun in Kuroi's picture and take a look at the horizon..

you lot really shouldn't assume you know the answers, if you have an opinion, research it.
