Arambul
Just no. If you actually go and think about it, 83 hunter is not high and it is not hard to even train to that lvl. Exp/hr for that skill is also fairy high compared to other skills. Based on the way mining works as a skill, the d pick would be a much more desired equipment for skilling than the d axe. Now, rune pick is able to "half hit" iron and the population generally assumes d pick can "half hit" coal. Also, rune miners will also want d picks to fasten the long time they take to mine rune. You have to kill boss monsters to acquire a d axe, yet a more desired d pick only requires skilling? Sorry to dash your hopes, implings WILL NOT drop d picks That actually made the most sense out of all of the replies on this topic. Same with D Chain and D2H, and a little bit for D Legs. drapit
Don't make up stories. If Jagex say,"hold on to your party hats, this month's updates are gonna rock!", it'll make sure Phats are 400mill per. If they put a picture of some silly looking clown, you're gonna say,"I think jagex is going to add the quest, clown face this month". What happens if there is a picture of a bronze sword at the main page? You'll go,"Oh no! Bronze items are going to get an update!". And the list could go on. What happens if there is a picture of a bronze sword at the main page? You'll go,"Oh no! Bronze items are going to get an update!". And the list could go on. If you think speculating on a future update is making up stories, then you are very mislead :| speculation is, exactly, guessing about future updates with little or no background behind it to know what it is. you are confusing me with a stupid person, who associates everything jagex does with a new update, when i'm only suggesting the possibility of part of a new update. Also, if Jagex puts a picture of an item that everyone's been looking forward to for ages onto the site, which is almost doubtless that it will be put into the game sooner or later (since it has it's woodcutting counterpart), it stands out a little more than a picture of a "clown", or a "bronze sword", which is why i've never mentioned any of those pictures around the logo at the top as future updates. ------ Elsewhere in the world you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll be noticing odd crop circles and strange imp-like creatures popping up all over the place. Implings like to collect things, especially things that humans want. when they̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve found something tasty, they take it back to their maze-like world of wheat, and fly about playing hide-and-seek. there's another language pothole for you... Yum, dragon arrows FTW? And as long as I can conceal a large cannon which is much larger than a person in my invisible backpack, small creatures can carry picks. ------ but if you follow them home to their maze you will have to contend with imp guardians... what level is an imp guardian? You could assume that the 83 hunter maze would have some fairly high levels in it. A level 131 bronze dragon has a unique drop which is d legs, why wouldn't something of a similar level have a unique drop of a d pick? Maybe the pick is one of those 1:2000 odd-type rewards, like a d med from a fire giant. Just FTR, even I doubt myself, I just wanted to see if anyone else thought of the whole pick idea yet :P

jofrek
i think it is high time that jagex released the dragon pickaxe (see siggy for why 8-) ) but i doubt that implings would drop them. But as WingedFish said i wouldn't be surprised if imp gaurdians dropped them, especially if they are at least level 130+ (more like 200+ :ohnoes: )
meb
The quote contradicts all you are saying, an imp couldn't hold a pick axe, too bad. #-odo imps drop gems? if so they can carry a dragon square shield :XD: Well they can carry hats they can easily fit 2 imps in. I doubt they'll release the dragon pickaxe this way, it will most likely be a rare drop from a (new?) strong monster. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. BabyPunchers
I dont think that Implings were made to drop 3 dragon items. Including the dragon pickaxe. 2 is enough. Plus think about it,what do imps/implings have to do with mining? When the BTS starts talking about Dwarflings, then you should speculate. \ Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie.
kemikalkadet
Can we stop the baseless speculation please? This is how mad conspiracy theories start.. one person finds some tenuous connection between two things then everyone jumps on the bandwagon thinking about how it could be possible. after a while it snowballs then everyone gets annoyed when jagex dont give the dragon pick they 'promised'

I tried to make it as clear as I could that this has almost no base in reality... It's not my fault if some crackpot sees my post and goes "zomg d pick!!!1" and goes running off to the RSOF to tell everyone that it's a confirmed update. Because even I don't think it's very likely, I just wanted to run my idea past some other people
Will H
But surely Implings would be able to hold some larger items, since Imps can carry any item you want to the bank, and quite quickly too. ~ W ~
dave0293
And I don't want people with a dragon pick to beat all the higher level miners with rune picks more. Heck, when I was level 70 I was able to beat a level 99 miner. We don't want mining to become even more not a question of levels.
