I'm starting to get the hang of vectoring. Here's what I'm working on so far:

It's still very unfinished, hoping to get it done by this night or tomorrow. Take note, the lips on the vector are vectored (My bro wouldn't believe me, I showed him the 24 layers I used for the bottom lip alone) I have the hand, the cap (my god, the stars...)her clothes, the teeth and the lil cherry to do. Then I'm finished :D

I think the cherry, lips, the cap and the red-white stripes on her shirt are still too detailed.

I haven't vectored those parts except for the lips :wink: It's the original you're bits you're still looking at

Here's a tiny update with the hands. I removed the background so that people won't confuse it for a the vector. Argh, I forgot to change the opacity of the upper lip, so it might look translucent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And off to dinner I go! :3

Argh, I just realised how many patches of white I've got in there, especially where the hair goes into the neck >.< Gonna fix that tomorrow :P

Just to let you know, there are 42 stars on the cap. On the whole thing, there should be around 270+ layers.

 

 

 

 

 

The hair needs fixing, I'm working on it.

theres still some spots where the hair meets the neck where there is nothing.

 

 

 

i suggest just moving all the 'points' over, and have it behind the hair (the layer)

Took me around 3 1/2 hours now. I will fix that bit with the hair and stuff, I didn't really see em until I posted it here. That'll be tomorrow :D

So, basically what you're doing here is tracing a picture with the pen tool in Photoshop? That is what vectoring is? Please correct me if I'm wrong, kind of confused on this.
