dunno_com
I'm pretty sure SS is legal. "world switchers" that don't follow Jagex's guidelines aren't legal. Providing they do, its ok.
no_way2go
They are all legal according to the law. Jagex has some self made up rules that clients have to follow. If you use SwiftSwitch, RsDemon or another client that follows those rules it won't be a problem. I'm thinking about making one myself :) - Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend ) -
SanNo1
SS is legal, but isnt a worldswitcher anymore :s There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.
Doomster
Unless it's changed yet again, world switchers are ok, but must not violate "world full" indication (nor hammer repeatedly for a change in "world full"). I'd be wary of RSDemon/Draco, as it has NOT been updated since the rule 7 rewrite, so it is likely the world switcher does not comply.
NightHawK
World switchers arnt legal...SS isnt a world switcher it just has some good features like stat lookup,IRC and more www.di-rs.com

Master_Smither
The NEW version fo SS is legal the one that says the world is full and such but the old one that lets you switch even if the world is full. You will get banned for macroing if you used the old 1. Well all worldswitchers r 100% illegal In rs and you WILL be banned permenatley. They have stepped up the Macro system so I suggest not even trying it out. Well good luck but Jagex and Tip,it don't suggest using SS due to soem sites having a key logger attached. Not really. I meant I don't know how good the Runescape world switcher was... I'm fully updated with the rules though since I'm fairly active on the forums. Laikrob
Section 1.1 of the Tip.It Forum Rules: Private server pictures and posts about worldswitchers/toolkits are forbidden. This includes discussions about using a third-party client and posting links to websites containing third-party client software. In game screenshots taken while using the Swiftswitch Worldswitcher/Toolkit will be allowed provided that no links are provided to download the application and no discussion of the features and benefits of using them is included. Jagex still highly recommends that these applications are not used and we are not currently allowing images from any other clients. We still ask that you crop any screenshots to prevent stretching of posts within the topics. It's quite clearly written... No discussions about using third-party clients! If you break this rule several times, actions may be taken against your forum accounts. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?
