Well this story started 2 months ago when I decided that I was going to quit for a short time. I decided that before i finished i would get a santa hat and lend it to my friend until i came back.

 

 

 

I quit for a couple of weeks then got bored and came back. At this stage i decided that my friend could keep my santa a little longer as he was having a hard time IRL.

 

Six weeks later he is playing much less and not talking to me when he is online. I end up getting suspcious so at my friends 94 mage party(he also knew the guy i lent the santa to) i ask him if he knows if he is going to give me my santa back. At this point my freind tells me that he has sold my santa hat and has bought items for himself.

 

 

 

At this stage i am feeling crushed, it about betrayal as much as the loss of a 20m gp item. This santa hat took me literaly a year to save for, i cleaned my bank to buy it and showed the ultimate trust in my friend and he betrayed it. My faith in humanity is literaly gone, I cannot understand the guilt he must feel for doing this, and if he feels no guilt i pity the worthless creature he is.

No offense, but it seems like you are traeting runescape as it is real life for several reasons. For one, you let a "friend" borrow an item on a game that you spent countless hours to save for expecting him to be a good friend online and give it back to you. Unfortunatly this wasn't the case. Secondly, although you did spend lots of time saving for it, you should'nt be that upset. Try to enjoy playing the game more. I have lost things worth more than those.

Thats a pretty low thing for him to do especially when you know him irl, and well you could always just stake what you have left if your confident lol thats ricky though so gl with whatever goals you have.

I have had bad experiences with the duel arena ie. being up 2m then down 100k.

should i get santa back or just spend money on skills?

I would spend it on a santa. Who knows, in two years santa could be worth the same price as party hats? Anyways, I would never lend a santa to a friend, even if I knew him in real life (unless I was able to pummel him :XD: )! Anyways, it's going to be alright for you.

I could easily bash the @#$% out of him, but firstly i am against violence and second that will lower the chance of me getting my stuff back(which still isnt out of the question)

Sorry for the pretty harsh post but it seems as tho ur making a bigger deal out of this than is necessary.

Don't mind the people telling you to go outside, they have insecurity issues that they think can be solved by telling others to do something they do themselves much less than the person they are telling.

Yea, thats happened to me, I've lost 30m to scams like that. Try out barrows to make some of your money back.

i'm going to tell u what i tell all my friend that i dont know irl that ask to barrow my santa or red mask, "it serves no bonuses what so ever it wont help u in the game, and u dont need to show off the fake way, so no u cant barrow it" trust me it works why would he want to barrow it, it dosent help him kill stuff or anything u set ur self up for that 1

Violence rarely (I would say never but anyway) solves anything.

 

 

 

I'm very sorry for your loss, and especially since you know him IRL it must really hurt your trust in people. I really pitty the guy for doing that, shows what a lousy person he is.. On the other hand, in the words of a close friend: "lets pray for him, so he doesn't have to do it again.".
