Well there's people that are going to think this just because it doesn't favour their own personal opinion. I don't really see how they are skewed myself.

I would like to see it as a subforum, because I also think it would be less overlooked. :)

M&M is the 3nd most active board in the General Section (discounting Forum Games which is basicly a spam board). It seems crazy to me to take something which has a large number of regular active posters be pushed under the carpet and hidden away.

Pushed under the carpet? Lets look at how much Video games has flourished since a sub-forum you didnt see as many video game discussions on off-topic before the making of the sub-forum. I think it will improve its activity as people often forget about it being near the bottom of the board.

Exactly, I think it will help increase activity in it.

 

 

 

If it turns out that it does the opposite then yes we can easily turn it back to the way it is at the moment.

 

 

 

I'm not trying to hide it away and stop people from visiting it. Why would I want to do that to a board I helped create?

Phil has always shown very much interest in the M&M section, I doubt he has got any bad intentions for it. And like he said. We can try it, right? Personally I feel the M&M board is getting less interesting by the day. It feels like I'm just constatly repeating myself in the topics posted. Maybe the change to sub-forum will blow a fresh wind trough it. Maybe it won't and it will generate even more of the same. But we can always try, right. :)

Why has this only been posted in off topic? There are many very active people in M&M that may not have a chance to have their say because it is not highlighted in that area.

I vote for a sub forum.

I don't really mind if it's left as it is, or made into a sub-forum.

 

 

 

I just think that the merging idea is terrible.

This is true. I was planning to close it earlier but it's been too close to call so I left it up.
