June 23, 200719 yr Usually asking for small amounts (under 1k gp for example), with good grammar, punctuation etc. works, especially when you're a higher level, for example I sometimes ask for 200 gp or so to buy that 1 more fishing explosive for a mogre task if someone is at Duradel at the time.

Well, I wouldn't call things like that begging, I once asked for 10 gp to pass the toll gate and gave back 100 gp on my way back - oh the good ole days, when I still haven't done the quest against it. Begging should be measured from 1k upwards, or things that might not be worth 1k but are hard to get and usually aren't on hand and/or out of the way, like a rainbow fish (not everyone has those). You're being watched.

Perhaps you should stop patronising people when you have no idea of their personal life or situation. I think this is something he wants to do and you have no right to say he shouldn't do it. How is it any different that merchanting or anything else in runescape. It is meant for fun and that is what he is doing.
