June 28, 200719 yr I was at CWs the other day and kept getting hit constant 18s by a ranger using a rune xbow and emerald tipped bolts. Anyone tried this out yet?
June 29, 200719 yr I have 85 range and can hit 22s with rune xbow using emerald (e) bolts. Good thing with xbow is u can have a shield equiped. I hit 28s with addy bolts. Ill prob never use a mage short again. Barrows Drops: Guthan's platelegs and War Spear, Dharok's plate body and Great Axe, Verac's Flail, Verac's Helm x 2, Ahrim's top, Dharok's plate legs Dragon Drops: Medium Helm x 4, Shield Left Half, plate legs x 2, skirt x 2.
June 29, 200719 yr any1 who can wield rune crossbow can hit over 50. but thats only with ruby bolts (e) and on opponents with 250+ hp (like portals in pc)
June 29, 200719 yr Crossbow should be good enough at barrows considering the speed is as fast as magic. June 29, 200719 yr i always used karils xbow on ahrim, way before the update to regular xbows. i still think it hits the best on him, it seems to hit way more often than rune and has a quicker firing rate too.

June 29, 200719 yr The best thing about cross bows its about the enchanted bolts...That has same effects as magic =P~ but i wonder if people starting pking with it.. Its not a fast weapon :shame:
