Remember when they updated the game so you could use the F1-F12 keys, and esc, and they linked to your option screens? The F7 key had no purpose, and when you pressed it, you got nothing but a buggy menu.

 

 

 

And anouther thing. Have you ever died because you could not use a spell quickly befor you ran out of HP? That is what this is all about

 

 

 

Many other games I have played, like UO and other online games, or even desktop games, have tons more shortcuts. Ctrl, alt, or comand key shortucts. My suggestion is to use F7 as a new feature. The way it would be used is as a spell shortcut, only for teleports. It would be for emergencies, where clicking the magic spell list just is not fast enough.

 

 

 

With this shortcut, a new menu would be added, or a button would be added to the attack type screen (close to the auto spell buttons when useing staves) that lets you set one teleport spell that you have runes or other objects ready for it, and you are able to use. Then, if at any time you need to teliport, you would press F7, and be on your way.

 

 

 

To make the feature unbroken, and to keep autoers at bay, a rule could be added that only lets you use this once every 10 minutes. That would keep those teleportation trainers (I know you have seen them, cammy and other spots) from just holding F7 down. The spell would also reset every time you use it, making you have to set it again

 

 

 

That is my suggestion. I hope that someday they do something like this. :-k

I like the idea, but lets say you were soloing KQ and use F7 to teleport out, then you go back to keep killing it and when you're dying and need to teleport out and click F7, then a message comes and says "You still need 3 more minutes to use this spell" and KQ finishes you in that time.

 

 

 

My suggestion is take out the 10 minutes before using again, instead every time you use it you have to re set it.

Well, taking out the limit would maybe be better after all, but maybe just making it shorter would suffice? I did not know if I should put the time limit in there, but it needs some kind of drawback. Just like the home teleport. Hmmmm. :-k

Not really, as it works with teletabs to, and they still only take up one space, what they are good for. It just makes it fast, as it does not matter what menu you got open when you press F7, as long as you have a teleport set. :)

That might make sense, but this is something everyone can use, not just people that are in clans. I think that is why there are no clan updates, because not everyone belongs to a clan. :-k

being clan related i meant something like a group chat so you don't have to pm 6 people and type the same thing over again.
