Well this is about discussing Paper Mario, but before you post I would like it if you please read all of this one.

 

 

 

Paper Mario(The Orginal): I myself loved this game, I found it incrediblely fun and I really enjoyed it and played it several times, they don't make many good games like this one now adays.

 

 

 

Paper Mario, The Thousand-Year Door: I found the first great and I had greatly enjoyed this one as well, espcially with new partners, new adventures!

 

 

 

Paper Mario 3:...Are you kidding me? You call this Paper Mario... This is an insult to the Paper Mario series, it dies right here. This is the game that destroyed the fighting system, trashed the badges and you call those pixls PARTNERS!? This game was a huge disappointment and if they dare to even make another Paper Mario game it better be more like the orginal or only 5 people are going to buy it!

Turning Paper Mario into a regular Mario game instead of an RPG is like the worst idea since the Sega Dreamcast :oops:

Why does everyone here hate Super Paper Mario so much? It was great. This game is a PLATFORMER, NOT AN RPG, it simply has RPG elements. They wanted to give a new look to platformers, and they did. It was fun. Sure, badges and turn-based combat were left behind, but it still fine. If you bought Super Paper Mario without expecting it to be a platformer (which was stated, like what, a bajillion times before it's release?), of course you're gonna hate it.

I heard the second one was awful. I personally liked the first a lot, but w/e mayne.

The paper mario 2 was bad but to the guy who said the dreamcast was a bad idea.......youve been smoking something strong

Well, I never played Paper Mario. Nope. Never. I never found the game..or an english ROM. Maybe tomorrow I'll DL the ROM and see if I can extract the English version..but..til then..meh.

That's not like, y'know, bad though. It was fun, so what if badges and partners were kicked out (which they weren't, BTW, you can play as Bowser, Peach, and the lean-mean green machine)?

 

 

 

And Super Mario was fun, like all other mario platformers, so why is this one bad? Nobodys gving real concrete reasons. :?

I think it's more that it's just something they aren't used to, I personally thought it was brilliant, I still love the first one more but yeah, it blows PM2 out of the water.
