July 23, 200718 yr there is a game called secondlife, i watched a program about it where people actually make a living by renting out property on the game to real people yeah that's just taking video games too far. besides, who actually do that if they can go into life and do the exact same thing, plus it will be real money that you get? only reason i play video games is to do something i can't in real life.

July 30, 200817 yr alright boys and girls, lemme tell you a story.... there was once a boy called timmy he was 12 years old, he had friends both good and bad, his parents were still married and living happily. Then came timmy's 13th birthday and things started going downhill, his bad friends encouraged him to smoke with them because they thought it would be "cool", he decided not, so his friends started to bully him to make him smoke, he kept denying to do it, so then they stopped being his friend.... his parents split up and fights were going on left and right swearing ,shouting, the works!! so one day in his class a good friend of his showed him a game called runescape, he started the way all of you did(as a 'noob' ;-) ). July 30, 200817 yr I don't think it is getting more addicting as time passes. There are bad updates and there are good updates. You have to admit, Runescape seemed so much bigger when you were a noob. And on the other hand, you wouldn't be staying if you didn't like it.

July 31, 200817 yr This is going to sound stupid but I like using hyper rationalism to solve, or answer questions such as these. The real question would be Is this game going to adapt so people no longer spend time doing other things, such as dating, forming relationships with other people (In a face to face environment) and going to work, school etc. These things are already happening. Many of us spend time playing because we prefer it to reading, going outside etc. So in a sense have we not already reached the point in which the question suggests?

The only thing that could make RS seem as good as/better then going outside and having a life is if you're addicted to it. And even then it's not actually better, it's just an addiction. EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.
