I think you need glasses or something as sure it is easy to downsize and trace but you can clearly see that it isnt traced. I dont even think your looking at the picture, you just are trying to be a jerk and your right i cant change the minds of morons like you. You will always think that i traced which i am saying is not true. And about the part me having no skill id like to see you do a sig as good as that. Like ive said before your just jealous and think that you make yourself look better by putting other people down. And also obviously i have lots of skill to make my sigs look exactly like RS pictures without traceing to make so many of you think that they are traced however i have already shown that when you do examine them they are different. stevepole Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 well i think that you screen shot you character then outline it then erease the in inside of the outline then color it in your way........ for example a sig i made along time ago: i took a screen shot of my guy then colored it in the way i thought it should be....... ----------------- and your characters on the topic post look like mini rs guys made to fit into your pixel sig...i was on your side somewhat until i saw how exact the mage was then that took me down to this claim of tracing....if you could show the progress shots that you said you were going to show a page back oh and a tip work on shading for your pixel sigs and not those solid colors....but i do like the rangers :wink: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All the pictures you have posted are almost exact replicas from the game. You have taken a screenshot and redrawn the character. People a suggesting you to draw...from scratch that is. Not just copying directly from the game. The game is very limited, at least the poses for the characters are...and so are your sigs. btw your shading is pretty cabbage. Yes i understand what your saying and i admit that i make my sigs look like the game. however i DO start from stratch and do not just trace over the pictures i use them as reference but do not trace. (bad style to copy) get your own style.. this really sucks.. the poses are way to limited & bad. & animations dont fend of the negative posts.. if you cant take negative replys i suggest you get out of here.. o and practice your shading.. it doesnt look to well.. See I can do a complete sig and I have actually. So when you can even produce lineart close to something like mine and get out of pamper diapers then come and show us. And i can take negative comments like i said i know i need to get better at shading its just i was saying that i didnt trace. thats not taking offence im just stating what i didnt do. Your all right i copied jagex's style and thats what i like so thats basically what i will continue to do. And teenageloser33 you have the right to critisize my sig! but when you start saying that i have NO talent and that i where diapers, so in other words when you insult me i do not believe that you should be doing that. Realy... It hurts my eyes to look at it. Don't do such heavy shading right on the edges, and then just go to a solid color. It looks very ugly, unrealistic, and cartoony. Anyway, a. those progress shots do NOT show that you didn't trace. I am not saying you did by the way. They just don't show it. If anything they could be evidence taht you traced poorly! Or itt could be you simply eyeballed it and redid it as you said. Nothing inherently wrong with that. It is good practice. Real artists use reference all the time. However, in this style of sig most expect a REINTERPRETATION of the Rs characters. They don't expect it to look just like the game or they would simply screenie it or use cut out chars. b. I really didn't think the shading was all that bad on most of it. The shield on the one guy has the bevel look going, but I didn't notice it right away. But i really do like his style And i think that pixel sigs are harder to do then brushed sigs. THey take more time and efort.
