I played WOW a month ago, and it strikes me that its not really MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER, to me it could be a console game with two controllers and two players and there wouldnt be much difference. Also its a lot narrower than Runescape in terms of what there is to do, sure there are 18billion quests and 53 trillion weapons, but in the end(2 months) who cares?

 

 

 

I play RS because i enjoy playing it, i really dont want to type out why i enjoy it so i wont.

The players and skills.

 

I'd much prefer to chat to friends while cutting down trees than fight against them. RuneScape is cheap, but it's just got that kind of entertaining feel. You can talk to your current friends, make new ones, or just talk to some random people you've just met. The graphics aren't the best, the combat system isn't the best, but it's simple, and fun to play.

wow is more expensive and maplestory if im correct you buy gold. tis-tis

For both the times have changed, so I'm moving to LOTRO.

 

 

 

 

 

Quests were the only thing I really enjoyed btw in RS. Too bad I didn't complete my questcape goal. RS is pretty sure the best MMORGP when it comes to quest orginality. And difficulty other then higher monsterlevels. *cough* MEP2 *cough*.

My net is to slow to play any other games!

I prefer RS over other MMORPGs because it provides you a large variety of things to do for whoever. Most other ones i've played has specific classes that you can't go from one to another, i.e. mage cannot use warrior items etc. I like how RS allows you to choose what you want to do and when =].

 

 

 

Also, the quests are very intruiging, in that most are to do specific tasks that are always different, rather than collecting a certain number of an item or kill a certain number of creatures (As mentioned several times before).

 

 

 

Also, RS has provided me with a pretty large friend base over the years that i don't think I would be able to part with 8-) .

because after i hit 70 in WoW, got geared, did my Kara attunement, my guild wouldnt let me go.

 

 

 

What im saying is, runescape is an independant MMO. you dont have to have a group or a guild to do anything in the game.

I too fell in love with this game and after some rocky waters, I'm back and I think for good. I can't pull myself away. =P

Because it's so simple and easy to play. Not to mention accessibility. Unlike other mmos that require a launcher, u can play rs right on the browser.

I play runescape because of one reason, I can do it while on MSN

 

 

 

Living the in the middle of nowere (20 mins on a moped to the nearest friends house) Going out is usually a pre-arranged thing of sorts and i usually Can't Really be bothered going out every other day. But the time im not out i still like to chat, and playing full window games like other MMORPG's and just any other game really makes me feel im missing out on chatting to friends (oh and don't forget the girls). If rs was a full window game i'm 95% sure i'd never play.

Continuous combat grinding usually make other games very boring. Atleast in Rs you can switch between things you train.. But its just useless grinding aswell.

I prefer runescape over others MMORPGs because in runescape you can do almost everything alone.Also there is the fact that the community isn't as "elitist" as other MMORPGs i have played (Guild Wars mainly) meaning that the people won't normally put you into an this or nothing situation. Also beacuse I never get bored while playing runescape since there is always something to do.

Well even if i wanted to i couldnt, my computer is very slow. Also i just dont like other games because i like everyone being the same race, plus i dont want to spend 15 dollars a month on wow.

lets just say my computer isnt the best
