Thanks for the kind offer, however I do not have enough money at the moment to buy iron arrows, I spent all my money on pure ess, glories and teleport tablets. I am needing to keep the last 50k or so that I do have, for later replacing of my teleport tablets and also for later buying cosmics to make more games necklaces.

 

 

 

perhaps though, I will make 1k/2k nats and sell those, that is the amount of pure essence I have over 150k, so it would make the cash and also allow me to have a nice round number of pure ess left over.

 

 

 

I will most likely do this, thanks alot for the idea! However, do you have any ideas where is a good place to train ranged so you can make your money back in drops to afford more arrows, and any idea how many arrows I will actually need?

If they are on the 6th row, you can right-click, left-click to empty them. There are 4 pouches, but I don't think it's practical to use all 4., since you'd have 12+9+6+3=30 ess, and 24 inv. spots. I think most high-leveled people use the highest 3 only.

Ah ok, thanks again, and I guess i'll just buy 30k or so arrows and train wherever takes my fancy, I am sure 30k iron arrows would succesfully get me to level 70 ranged!

:shame: Not true. I am 75 rc I use all 4. I have 2 99 rc friends they use all 4. Its no slower and using only the 3 largest is still highly inferior.

Ah ok, well when I finally get to that level, i'll try both for myself and find what is more enjoyable and which I preffer and find is fastest.

I guess you learn something new every day. I was just going off of the numbers, because that would mean 3 more clicks.

Perhaps, but I can't get 75 then see if I can get to 70, haha. I'd preffer you not to post unsupportive, unhelpful posts. I have the patience, that's for sure. Making cash, and the fact I like the skill ( I can tell at that low a level wether or not I enjoy it ), should help me along the way. I do not plan on rushing this to 99, I plan on taking 1-2 years, and taking it slowly and enjoying myself along the road to 99.

 

 

 

I shall also be taking breaks if I get bored, to do other skills. I do not plan on going to 99 straight from 44, I am not that stupid, however I plan on making atleast 92, as I aim for my party hat which is on of my biggest goals on Runescape.

Yea well I was tired :oops: . I'm not being unsupportive and all, but Runecrafting is so slow that if you're aiming for a high level the road to it will seem very long. I have 77 Rc myself and there is no way I could have done that without 2-month breaks.

yeah my other goals where all sort of fails, because I decided to go for 99 without actually trying the skill, and with playing so much per day I just ....gave up.

 

 

 

Taking this slower, and enjoying myself a little, plus the money helps alot and you feel like you're getting places, unlike many skills, even though you're not, the sense of it is still there, and I love it. One day I will achieve a 99, and hopefully this shall be it. I will definetley atleast be going until I get that party hat ( green 0 that i've always wanted, as I find it hard to do other things now when i feel I could be out making cash.

 

 

 

I think knowing I WILL get the reward I want, that precious green, makes me have the drive I do, and I think it's good I finally have that drive now, as I haven't since 99 thieving!

 

 

 

And to the other person, it's ok. I am for sure taking breaks along the way, I plan on going high, but most likely at some points i'll just need a rest.

 

 

 

Anyway 1.4k or so made today, another 600 or so to go until I stop and buy my arrows for 70 ranged, which should hopefully stop me using 12 salmon per 1k nature runes I make ( going to 99 at this rate will require alot of salmon, 14k-15k ) if not I can train defence up a little, later on, as another break.

get a rune c' bow and mith bolts. 1k for about 160k (i think lol) kill blue drags and sell the hides to replace bolts. rinse and repeat. gl!! :thumbsup:

thanks everybody else for the ranging tips, perhaps at 61 plus I shall try the rune crossbow and mithril bolts method, can anybody confirm this is an effective way to level?

Sold my 2k planned nature runes now, now off to train ranged.

Alright here is a piece of advice from a rcing thats been around the block.

 

 

 

Lose the dragon hides, lose the skill cape, lose the bear head. I use boots of lightness, sara book, mith pick, penence gloves, spotty cape and a green hat you buy in canfic for style.

 

 

 

If you do get tb, (very rare) then just start droping all your stuff (not penence gloves). First your pouches, then your glory.

 

 

 

Run back to bank, grab a new glory, load of sharks, and a p pot or something, tele back to edge, collect your stuff.

 

 

 

I have rced over 100k nats and only lose about 2 glories. Doing this, you can rc alot more an hour.

 

 

 

Also (didn't notice) do you use super energy restores? Cause they are soooo worth it. they pay for themselfs rather fast, and i rced over 1k nats more an hour when i started using them.

 

 

 

Anyway, gl on your goal. After I get 99 crafting, im gonna work up 19-20m so Ill have the 39, i need for 91 rcing.

 

 

 

Once I get that, ill go for a yellow then red p hat!

Yes, I plan on doing that after I have made another 10k nature runes, simply as if I choose to do it i'd like to get 70 ranged/defence ( range for hp and defence to get hit less ) and i'd like to buy a decent amount of them at once!

 

 

 

Thanks for reminding me of that idea, i'll work on the combat stats, make the natures, and then finally get it !( minus the penance gloves as I have a strange dislike for barbarian assault )

 

 

 

I guess I can always just sell natures afterwards and buy more food/super energies when needed.

A little more advice on clothing - do elemental workshop 2 and get yourself a mind cap and a mind shield. That's +18 easily replaceable mage defence. Plus, the shield looks quite cool. I've done quite a lot of abyss rcing, and have yet to get pked with these and black dhide.
