Guest
Umm something weird is when we all sit down at the table for a roast dinner or something someone always gets picked on lol we take the piss out of each other at the table... Guess that's how I developed a sarcastic sense of humour and people easily get offended because I assume they can cop it on the chin. Its always the youngest who gets the most. That being me in my family. << Token Sympathy Cry emote.
raz
Dance. Like seriously just everyone starts dancing. My dad likes to show off new moves he learned/made up. His newest includes "drop dead", "naughty boy" and "african ma". Yeah he'll do those in front of anyone. Sad part is we all join in. Don't need an occassion. Only today he "dropped dead" in Debenhams because they were playing some ragga tune in the electrical department. lmfao!
Rebdragon
We play Risk a lot. It's always fun completely obliterating my siblings. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. assassin_696
- The lecture about my parents 'walking miles to just to get to school' Yeah I get the asian part of your case.. My case is a bit different as my father is from southern europe, more precisely ex. yugoslavia, and I sure got my share of the "wake up lazy ***** when I was your age I biked 7 miles every morning to buy bread and attend school at 6.am and feed the dog and swim across the lake and take out the rubbish of the entire neighbourhood and god knows what else" Sure I respect that, knowing he didn't come from an exactly wealthy family, but makes me wonder if there's some exaggeration in there :-$ Yeah, I think you're right. According to my mum she walked 5 miles to school when she was like, 7, then walked 5 miles back for lunch, 5 miles back to school, then 5 miles back home again. I'm doubtful :P "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

IGoddessI
When dad and I do the shopping we kind of tend to throw things to put them in to the trolley.... well he throws them and I catch them... Sometimes ... I like his theory of shopping.. Him: Wtf are these things... you eat em? me: yup Him: what about the other 2? me: yup Him: Aight well CATCH It's better than when mum does the shopping coz she seems to shop for herself and what she eats rather than the rest of the family. When she does the shopping all of us complain lol and if you go with her... asking for lollies is as if you're directly naming her hitler..... :o The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours. nightwolf06
My family well, are abit complicated. We only talk about things from the past when we go out for meals which doesn't happen very often. Found out my uncles company is worth 20million (yeah I can't believe it either -.-) We always talk about each others bad traits behind backs, but would never say a bad word about them in person familys eh ? Nom
Are there any things that your family does that is weird or funny or even disgusting? For example in my family whenever we get fortune cookies we read them out loud, but at the end of every fortune, add "in bed". You get some pretty funny stuff. Strange thing is.....my grandma came up with that  . So, share your stories of the kind of things your family does. Lol me and my friends were on a trip and we did that, and one of the cookies read, "The first and last love is self-love." Weird enough on its own. dark_blob
- Be a doctor, or a scientist (If I did become a doctor or a nurse, I'd be the 5th doctor and the 10th nurse in the whole family); - Being nagged to be always the top of my class, if not, my year; - Hearing my mum complain about my electric guitar and how I should play my piano instead; - The lecture about my parents 'walking miles to just to get to school' My parents as asian, if you don't get it.Is it just me or does like every asian person I meet play piano? I play piano, my friend plays piano and tons of other kids also do. My parents also nag me to be the best in my class. Basically all Asian parents I've met are like exactly the same :-s
IGoddessI
But to be a part of their culture I think is admirable... I don't know many Westerners who work their butt off to get their little sister or brother in to university or have that much respect for their guests and parents. The Asian people I know at my university are the first to give me a hand if I ever need it.
