It's a success, but it seems that the Wii only has a few good games.. it's just appealing to non-gamers, so it sells well.

 

 

 

I bought my Wii basically for Smash Brothers (i can't wait for it to come out :D).. other than that, it seems like all the games on the Wii are like Mini Game Party 9 :/

I presume it's done by farcasted figures at the end of the year. Clearly the Wii is outselling the XBox, so the predict Wii will be on top by the end of this year? Because you're right, apparently 360 has still sold more units. Then again it's been out a year longer, so I dunno if they've taken that into consideration. :-k

Surprising, everyone I know who brought one has sold it on/is trying to sell it on. It's got very few good games...

 

The only of the three I would consider buying would be the XBOX 360. Nothing against the PS3, the graphics look good but too expensive.

I looked at Nexgenwars.com and it said the Xbox 360 had 1 million more sales than the Wii.

 

Nexgenwars is merely an estimate that increases at a certain rate. It's long due for an update to be really accurate, since the numbers are apparently way off.

That site actually accounts each and every retailer that reports sales, and isn't an estimate.

 

If you look at the charts, the Wii is far from really taking top spot. Sure, the total sales is slightly higher, but keep in mind that American sales are vastly in microsoft's favor, as well as "others", which would be primarily Europe.

 

If there was any chance for the 360 in Japan, Nintendo and Sony would start feeling the heat. Unfortunately there isn't, so case closed. :wink:
