Guest ejp2005
When I try to open the RuneScape website it says: "Internet Eplorer cannot display the webpage" Is this my problem or is it a problem for eveyone else on IE? Are other uses on different browsers having the same problem?

bambino
http://www.getfirefox.com Give that a try :) I know what I know and what I know might well not be what you want to know but then seeing as only I know what I know and you do not know what I know then you will not know if what I know is what you would like to know
Guest ejp2005
thanks for the thought, but i had firefox once, until i came to a webpage that wouldn't work in firefox, so i decided to stick with IE until i found a webpage that didn't work in IE. Then i'd start worrying :) On topic: Oh well, maybe it will work in the morning.

Freesia
Maybe your firewall is blocking runescape. This thread belongs ot T&C i guess. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

underu2000
I have an idea. Try typing in "www.runescape.com"....I know i'm being obnoxious, but sometimes the most obvious things may be the culprit. To help ya out, http://www.runescape.com Other than that, I don't see why IE would be have a prejudice on runescape :-k (I doubt firefox and IE make any diff, albeit i use firefox myself). Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
GlowinRedM
I would suggest Firefox or Opera. Either browser will work. If you are stingy or have a POS computer then clear all Temporary Files, Cache, just everything. If that doesn't work, do this: -Start -Run -Type cmd into the box -Type ipconfig /flushdns into the command line -Close command prompt That will flush the DNS cache, which means slightly slower loading the first time, but it should work on the off chance that the DNS has changed, as Windows automatically caches DNS information upon visiting a site. The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast. He doesnt even have any friends.[spoiler=Other Quotes]tbh idk why this makes me laugh so hardAll DFS threads turn into efficiency flame wars >.>>OP asks "why use DFS?">everyone says "there is no reason">someone says "stop bashing people who use DFS, efficiency troll ass clown">thread is now a flame fest

mikercool
Seems that the Website lost compatibility with older versions of IE? It works for me in FireFox only, not IE 5... Shows you how much I use IE, I am 2 versions old lol.
