I got up early this morning so I could play without noobs bugging me for "Phr33 St00f" and the website is down or something. I keep getting a "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" message.

 

 

 

Is it my computer or is it happening to other people too? I was just on yesterday and it worked fine. :-k

Hmm... well I dont know what the problem is on my end. All other websites work fine (except my email, stupid ISP is garbage) except RuneScape.

I'm having the same problem. Can't get on this morning. I've tried FireFox, IE, deleting temp files, reconnecting the internet, I flushed the DNS cache (whatever the heck that is), pretty much everything I could think of. No luck.

Several ppl from my PC group can get online fine but me and a few others can't.

 

 

 

Seems to be a network problem with a certian area of the internet.

 

 

 

Probably a host routing issue.

 

 

 

For everyone having the problem its not your PC.

 

 

The internet is dropping the packets after hop 10 which is somewhere in the big internet network. I work for a cable company and have submited this to our NOC Aka Network Operations Center. Who report issues like this to get it resolved. Hopefully it will be back up and running soon!!!

It loads for a long time and then comes up with "this page cannot be displayed?" This happens to me with Youtube and Freewebs, I hope its fixed soon :(

I can get youtube just fine. hopefully that spot in the network is fixed soon also!!

YouTube and FreeWebs work fine for me, it seems to be only RuneScape. I really hope it gets fixed soon, I think I'm going through withdrawal. I may not make it.

same's happening for me... it's only the front page though, detail select onwards works fine. Also, i can still play through swiftswitch, just not IE or firefox.

I am still having this problem and it has been going on since yesterday evening. The main page will not load. The highscores, Knowledge base...same thing. I used to be able to access the forums for around an hour after it started, now the forums to me are a white page, dead images, and normal blue text for links and black for normal. I would really wish that Jagex knows what is going on, if they don't, this small percentage that are still having this problem may be stuck with it for a while.

Judging by your location, it's a local problem (I live in NB too). Which probably means that Jagex can do nothing about it, and we just have to wait.

It would be rather nice to know if the others that have posted about this are from the same location.

yeah it's strange.. KBase, forums, highscores etc worked fine.. and the actual game itself. Smiley's on forums and the skill symbols wouldn't work though. Eveything's been working fine for me for about an hour now though, don't know about anyone else.
