What is the different between long and short bows?

short = faster

 

long = longer range.

Longbows are slower but more accurate and longer range

 

Shortbows are faster but less accurate and shorter range

well.. that was really simple. so there is no range differences in hits etc...

with longbows i think you have higher chance of hitting your max but the speed of short bow makes up for it.

I think that the longbow hits harder... not sure.

 

 

 

I use shortbows for anything other than safespotting. They dont have the range for the things I safe.

I will be using long as I use safespots all the time. Thanks to all that helpped :D

once you get 70 switch to c bow speed of short bow and range of long bow...

To add on, since longbows and shortbows have the same ranged attack bonus, then the max hit should be the same with both.

they have the same bonus, but the longbow is far more accurate, and as said above, is best used for safespotting. i personally use a shortbow for most training.

1. The difference between short and long bows is well, longbow = a longer bow and you can hit farther and shortbow is a shorter bow meaning you range shorter distances.

Pros:

 

Fast

 

Somewhat accurate

 

 

 

Cons:

 

Cannot range too great of a distance

 

More misses

 

 

 

Longbow:

 

 

 

Pros:

 

Hits more accurately

long bows give higher range atk bonus, and thus allow you to hit at least 1 hit higher, long bows also are slower, and are usually used less, as people prefer speed over power. I also believe that the longbows hit more often (accurate) but i can't be 100% positive.

The only differences between long and short bows are this:

 

1. Longbows are somewhat slower, but have a longer range.

 

2. Shortbows are somewhat faster, but have a shorter range.

 

 

 

That's all. Because they both give the same ranged bonus, none of them hits higher or with more accuracy than the other one. For training, the shortbow gives much better exp, but you might need the longer range for Pking.

 

 

 

Saying that the long hits higher is just another rumour like saying "slayer dart doesn't get affected by magic bonuses".

Long Bow = 6 7 4 4 = 10 seconds

 

 

 

You had 2 more hits with a short bow the the damage usually evens out.
