Maczeii
Does wearing a Wealth increases the chance on a defender if u kill a Cyclope? 1st goal: 2nd goal: Designed for Life
Lenin64
Im pretty sure it has been confirmed by jagex that a wealth does not affect defender drops. Command the Murderous Chalices! Dr_Locust
Most people would say yes. Some people would say no (same people that say the ring of wealth is a piece of junk). I'm one of those that say yes. =P Dr Locust <-- Click for my blog...+2000 Total, PhD in Questing, Woodcutting, Agility, Thieving, and Firemaking
mchainmail
Defenders have high-alch values of 0, meaning Jagex considers them "worthless" For this reason, I believe they are not covered under the ROW.

Kilo
I say punkins! :D Either way, defenders are a pretty frequent drop from cyclop's, so the RoW doesn't affect the drop rate anyway. Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Oscar Wilde

wioneo
Some Jagex letter was quoted that said Rings of Wealth increase the chance of getting ALL drops that are not 100%, excluding half keys and clue scrolls. So for a cyclopse that would be everything other than big bones including defenders. Just so that you know, I spent 2100 tokens after getting iron, then I bought a ring of wealth, the second cyclopse that I killed dropped steel. I then spent 1400 tokens and gave up. I came back a few weeks later and got all of the remaining defenders in less than 100 tokens. So for me, the ring seemed to help, sort of... nerdattack16
I think we'll never know the answer. I got my rune in 910 tokens without a Ring of Wealth, and I know people, with and without one, that took thousands of tokens to get one. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
