September 1, 200718 yr No topic on this that I'm aware of, don't kill me. Released last Tuesday, August 28 (In North America at least). This is an amazing game. The graphics are the best seen on the Wii so far, the FPS controls for the Wiimote have been perfected, it has a great story, etc. Nintendo Power rated it a 10/10 (only the 2nd game to receive that rating from them, the first being RE4, so don't say they're biased), and all other reviews I've looked at have given it a 9 or higher except Gamespot (8.5, but who listens to Gamespot? :P ) IMO, best game out for the Wii so far, Twilight Princess being a close second. My verdict: Halo just got owned. The only problem I have with it is that there is no multiplayer, but Metroid has always been a single-player experience. What are your thoughts on the game?
September 1, 200718 yr I am not a huge fan of Metroid, but I did decide to try my luck at beating the first prime, (I got it years ago and never really played it) and I finally found the story line! OMG! I never noticed that before, but what ever. I still can't believe they gave it a 10 (my subscribtion ended last month). I might get it well im waiting for Brawl to come out, but I herd it only had like 15 hours of playtime... Rofl. My chair has a fridge, a cooler, a toilet, a shower, and a barbecue bulit in.Hey, I may have quite Runescape, but I just bought an XBOX 360 and play way to much COD4 with the Gamertag Lava Mage
September 1, 200718 yr Author I didn't know it only had 15 hours of play time, and I'm still not sure of it. Although I am at ~25% complete with about 5 hours on it, so that would come out to 20 hours. But then again, I would have to get every single scan and missle expansion and energy tank for 100%, so I dunno.
September 1, 200718 yr Prime was Amazing, but Echoes, not so much. I hope this is more like the old Metroid games.
September 2, 200718 yr Ok thanks, I am replaying MP (like 25% done) then im going to get echoes (if I can find it) and if I still have some dosh, ill get corruption Rofl. September 8, 200718 yr This is the first Metroid game that I've ever played before (except that I played the one for DS for about 5 minutes) and I'm impressed so far. I'm about 30% done and it keeps getting better and better. Lol I get into it so much that when I'm done, I have to let the Wiimote dry out because my hands were sweating so much. Anyways, so far I'd consider it the best game out for Wii so far. 10/10  Last.Fm My Bloggy Proud to have served on Tip.it Crew
September 8, 200718 yr WHY GOD WHY?!!? WHY CAN'T GOOD GAMES BE RELEASED IN EUROPE ON THE SAME DAY?! :( Anywho, i loved the first one, and i feel immensly proud because i killed the Metroid Prime :D I didnt get the second. Yet...... Maybe if i see it in a bargain bin for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5 i'd get it. :D Should be there soon :P Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)
September 8, 200718 yr I only own the first Metroid Prime game, and this may sound wussy to some people but I could never get into the game. Probably because I would play it for half an hour and end up having to stop because of motion sickness :-# Only game thats ever happened with though...strange, maybe the camera just zoomed around to quickly.
September 9, 200718 yr I got this game the second day it came out. I thought it would be so much fun!! but...there isn't enought shooting. I know everyone says that metroid games are about exploration and unlocking things. But I think Ninetendo's ONLY FPS should actually have a decent amount of shooting in it. I am only on the 3rd lvl tho so if the game gets more intense someone tell me. I might start playing it more. The FPS controls are amazing though. I compared it to x-box (halo 2) and metroid is just so much easier.

September 11, 200718 yr anyone else having trouble opening doors past the first time? You shoot, breaking the shield... then you wait. 10 seconds later it opens. Really annoying
September 11, 200718 yr Author anyone else having trouble opening doors past the first time? You shoot, breaking the shield... then you wait. 10 seconds later it opens. Really annoying That has been a prevalent problem throughout the series. If you get too close to a door before shooting it, it won't open. . . and for the life of me I can never figure out what to do to get it open. I usually just pump rounds into it until it does, even though that makes no difference :XD:

I also encounter that problem and the loading room is a pretty good guess at why it happens Every reviewest has mentioned this, this is one of the only flaws the game has. EVERY person who owns metroid 3 experiences it. It's because the game has to render the next rooms graphics, monsters, and so on. Because of this, I give it a 9.8/10, still incredible. The game is amazing. I beat it already, I love the ending level, which I refuse to tell. Sucks there is no multiplayer, they should do something about that...Anyway the intensity of the fighting nearing the end...And the controls are like butter...Slides nice and easy. Flying the ship, controlling it, and so on is a nice feature as well. :) Eh, I can still help anyone who has trouble, however. :P Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)

September 12, 200718 yr Author Which reminds me, I need to play it some more. . . I've been busy, and when I wasn't I was blowing extra hours watching FMA :XD: . But yeah, the door thing. . . I still like to shoot it in frustration.

September 14, 200718 yr The game is about 20 hours to beat, more if you go back to play on veteran and get the unlockables.
September 14, 200718 yr Author Kewl. Still on the short side for a Prime game though. At least it wasn't as dire as 15 hours.

September 15, 200718 yr I just finished my second playthrough while trying to get all the scans and expansions. I managed the expansions, but I missed one scan at the very beginning of the game. Looks like I'll be going through it again. Not that that's a bad thing. :D
