September 9, 200718 yr Hi im wondering wich one is the fastest option for strength training (P2P) #-o =======================================| 1. Pest Control (veteran) / XP hour = :?: 2. Dharoking - X monster / XP hour = :?: 3. ??? / XP Hour = :?: =======================================| Thank you for any answers about your own personal experience concerning this matter, I do realize the XP per hour differ from individual to individual. September 9, 200718 yr Hi im wondering wich one is the fastest option for strength training (P2P) =======================================| 1. Pest Control (veteran) / XP hour = :?: 2. Dharoking - X monster / XP hour = :?: 3. ??? / XP Hour = :?: =======================================| Thank you for any evaluated well formated answer, i do realize your XP per hour difference from individual. (Also please state your Combat lvl & Att) :P // People will probably tell you different answers for each of these. I would probably say that Pest Control is faster than Dharoking; not to mention that Dharoking is somewhat dangerous and requires near-constant attention from you incase of something as simple as an evil chicken. Personally, my favorite method is to use slayer. You get to use a Black Mask, which boosts your stats by 15%, making up for the decrease in speed resulting from not getting to choose your assigns. However, at the same time, you'll raise your slayer level, which can be useful. Plus, the randomness tends to break up the monotany. You can find loads of information, such as mini-guides I have written, my laws, and links to my stories here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=696442 This is a link to the story Council of Oblivion: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=695628
September 9, 200718 yr Agreed with Shadow. PC is best xp, but its kind of risky if you dont win. Slayer is fun onceyou get a high enough lvl. Use Zanaris master.
September 9, 200718 yr I think i got like 40kish exp an hour dharoking at ape atoll with 1-5 hp. Just remember to bring an antipoison and teleport just in case. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
September 9, 200718 yr No idea experience per hour, but if you're a pure then Experiments or the monsters in Torn's Dungeon work out well. Cowards can't block Warriors.
September 9, 200718 yr As shadow stated slayer is fun and rewarding. September 9, 200718 yr depends on what kind of player you are. for pures, experiments or rock crabs, for anyoen else, i like pc or slayer.
September 9, 200718 yr Slayer, I find PC quite boring, doing the same game over and over again. Slayer is more fun and trains 2 skills at once.
September 9, 200718 yr dharoking is faster, buy you have to pay 400k per 15 hours of dharoking. i'd do pest control.
September 10, 200718 yr Well, i prefer to train melee skills in slayer. BUT if you want fast lvling, are willing to spend money, then try the bandit camp. Wear any god item and they should attack you. Guthans is highly recommended (if possible). otherwise just bring a full load of food.
September 10, 200718 yr Well, I am 99 strength, so I'll tell you what I trained on. 1) Moss Giants - I trained from 96-97 strength on these. I know it sounds nooby, but you use little or no food, collect stackable drops like seeds, runes, and arrows, and oddly it seems like very fast exp if you know where to train. I myself suggest training in the Varrock Sewer/Edge Dungeon Moss Giants. Do not use this method if you can't use the pipe short-cut to Edge Dungeon. Simply go down there with high alchemy runes, a chisel, and a bit of food. Take a few strength pots because it is a cheap way to speed up training. 2) Fire Giants - I trained from 97-99 strength on fire giants with a dragon halberd. If you do not have a D-Hally, I suggest getting one before trying this method. You can achieve the ability to wield one by completing the Regecide quest. As with mossies, take high alchs (or at least the nature runes as a lot of fire runes are dropped), a chisel, as much food as you can (you will waste a lot for inventory space, but it is needed at the beginning while the Fire Giants are aggressive), and some strength pots. Some highlights about the fire giants are that they have 111Hp, so that transfers into 444 Strength exp per giant.. they drop strength potions (2-dose), and quite a few other decent items. 3) Ankou - This method is best used with a Salve Amulet, or Salve Amulet (e) achieved from the Haunted Mine quest. You should use this amulet because it increases your att/str by 15%, and if enchanted, 20%. Head down to the Ankou with a chisel, a full inventory of food (again wasting will occur), and strength pots to speed up the process even more-so. Ankou drop a large number of blood and death runes, and also a varied number of other items that are worth picking up. If you can take rune/drag/torag down here with full guthans to recharge your Hp, then you will be able to virtually camp down here. 4) Slayer Tasks - This can be a good way to raise both your strength and slayer at a rather fast rate. If you decide to use this method be sure to use a Black Mask, as it raises your att/str levels by 15% versus slayer tasks. Use the highest level slayer master you can, and go to the Burthope slayer master if you want your task changed. Be aware you will have to do the task that he assigns. Your inventory in most cases will consist of high alch runes, a chisel, some food, and strength pots to further speed up training. Be sure to take any items that are required to kill your slayer task. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
September 10, 200718 yr Author purepure4774 A question: did you do this (old) way before or after PC? :) Anyhow thanks to everyone who helped me get a picture of the current situation for lvling any melee skill ;) I will most likely use all of them to not get bored of training nonstop melee, and in the end prolly get the last 1 or 2 points to 99, at Experiments/Bandits for some much needed HP xP :D /Cheer's :XD:
