ENTER SHIKARI

No offence mate but if you think that, then that's pretty messed up. Never heard another band with that much trance and screaming/rock in it at once. Most have a rocky backing tune but everybody listens to close to the rifts or w/e to actually enjoy it.

When I was in highschool a few years ago a group of my friends/associates had a band that sounded exactly like that. It wasn't an abnormal sound then either.

...Yeah, sorry Ewan :| , this band isn't any new innovation. This music has been around for quite a while, its not a gem of any kind :|.

Ive not really heard anything like it before. Its not the usual post hardcore band. My friend recommended them to me and i put off checking them out for a long time because of exactly the kinds of reasons some ppl are saying in this thread but i really like them. I think they while they share a lot of similarities with other bands they are also quite unique

I don't mind them, though they aren't my favourite band. :P

"Sorry you're not a winner" is my favourite song. :)

RIP Michaelangelopolous

No offense but they're pretty bad.

I quite liked it, by quite liked it I mean I listened to the whole thing, I liked it when he actually sang, but I hate screaming in songs.. I mean, even I can shout into a mic.

I was searching for the ordered and received music topic, and I came across this one .

I went out today to see a friend, and we went into a music store, I couldn't make up my mind, being now jobless and in college, money is disappearing fast, so I had to limit myself to only one cd.. :(

anyway,

I brought.

Enter Shikari - Take To The Skies ::'

and I'm loving it.

It's something about the electronic music that does it for me, makes it that little more different to most other screamo bands.

My dA account.

They sound exactly like funeral for a friend that i heard about 3 years before this came out. Simple riffs and kinda boring tbh.

You've clearly never listened to Enter Shikari if you believe that to be true.

Im not a huge fan of either but seriously they couldn't be more different.

We can breath in space, they just don't want us to escape

i saw them when they were a little band (theyre from around my area) and tbh i thought they were [cabbage]. i dont expect them to have changed so...

I obviously have because i wouldn't have commented on them if i hadn't heard them before. And I'm afraid they do sound the same.
