Jagex cracking down on Youtube.

I think someone posted before, but it maybe from all the people scamming using comments on videos. They taking the poor defencless noob to a seemingly 'c00l' site and bam keylogger or some other virus.

I'm not sure about the exact situation, so I won't give a full comment

 

 

 

If Jagex is removing every stuff in youtube, they are being lame as it offends normal players + youtube can be a free advertising machine for Jagex

 

 

 

They may consider copyright issues, but wait, the audiences can't get the source codes from a video or screenshot. :ohnoes:

 

 

 

However, it's appropriate for them to remove lure videos, or videos that teaches others how to use macros (I've seen 'em personally, but I have never been using any cheats). :lol:

They only remove vids that violate in-game rules. These vids could be seen as free advertising for jagex, but vids of rule breakers would only draw more rule breakers into the game.

It's interesting that Jagex goes to great lengths to remove youtube videos when all the top cheating sites remain untouched.

I'm not entirely sure that's true. Every once in a while I see rant threads on the RSOF complaining about how Jagex is removing simple PK videos. Really stupid place to talk about it though.

Ok, before this whining and carrying on gets to heated why don't we stop and think for a moment? Wheres the proof? so far the only proof I have seen is a few vids that got destroyed. For me that isn't conclusive enough.

 

 

 

Furthermore why aren't all the vids gone? you'd think that once you get rid of a few of them you would get rid of the rest. Now people lets do something really wild and new....... It's called thinking and it helps you a lot. :D

I don't think theyre doing that because I just went on youtube and theres tons of rs vids. I watched some of a classic rs one and remembered about how when your in combat your always facing 1 side of your screen, even if you turn your view. I think thats how I developed my habbit of always having my guy face 1 side of the screen when I'm in combat. I turn it so that it looks like it did in classic, lol.
