123Yourgone
200k per hour is fairly weak, I'm sure you can find something better Please share your insights then that don't require millions of gp to start, eg. merchanting rares. yes, please tell me how i can now go about making over 200kgp an hour with a starting capital of around 20k. if you can manage to explain a valid, tested, proven and consistant way of doing this, i will personally appear to you in game and bow at your feet and worship you for as long as youd like.Runecraft nats. Solidus_77
^ spot on! 8-) Even at the base level (44), you can make over 200k per hour though the abyss. At 75, you can make 450k per hour and at 91 you can make about 1 mill per hour. Get this: these figures INCLUDE the price of pure ess. These figures are all approximate however there is a much smaller degree of uncertainty compared to merchanting/staking. Those methods have huge possibilities (many, many millions) however they are very irregular. There is only one risk: getting pked. The cost of that is 60k (if you only wear your glory + untradables like I do). And if you drop your pouches you can be up and running again in less than 5 mins. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! S6er112
-Will this truly solve the store-bot problem or will it just adapt and find another way to abuse the game? They will be stymied at the very least for a few months. -Will they go start buying out all the feathers in the Fishing Store, or will that be infinite as well? If it is, that would affect the Fletching market as well. as you know by now feathers are limitless...on the other hand fletchers are really kind of stymied also..to be granted you sell irons at even 15 ea you will do ok...but like everything else its pointless to go above the price at the store. -As a RuneCrafter, I'm worried that I will no longer be able to merchant my wares. Merchant....there is no way you can make a profit selling back to the shop..however as they said sell your runes slighty cheaper than the stores... Guest geeman122
-Will this truly solve the store-bot problem or will it just adapt and find another way to abuse the game? people dont need the elemental rune merchants anymore so the store bots in f2p will be gone and deaths usually sell for 300-310ea and you can buy as many of them as you want now this will badly effect all the rune markets since you can now buy millions of nats laws deaths waters airs ect for street price the only market there will be now is the soul and blood market and mabe nats for people who want to buy for 290ea Ps-Ive only checked the death price but it seems to me that nats will be the same as deaths correct me if im wrong
Gin_and_Tonic
If you really think about it, this is just another way JAGeX are forcing people to become members... nearly every F2p rune in store is cheaper then its orginal street price, apart from Laws, Natures, Deaths and Chaos... Isn't it ironic they're all members rune. :-w

F2pers don't really runecraft nearly as much as members anyways. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! IAm314159
Actually, I don't know how Jagex's new update helps to deter store-bots...they can just repetitively click and click and click without any concern for us! Solidus_77
Actually, I don't know how Jagex's new update helps to deter store-bots...they can just repetitively click and click and click without any concern for us! You need to look at the bigger picture to understand. Then you will realize that they haven't deterred store-bots, they have eliminated them completely! Before, they could just sit in a store and buy tons of runes for a cheap price and then sell them to players for a profit. Now, because there are infinite stocks, the street price doesn't exceed the shop price (because almost all cannot compete with an infinite stocks) So now the bots can buy all the air runes they want for 17 gp each but the street price for air runes is less than 17 gp so it's a complete waste of time. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! Alex_Ewan_1
good because then bots can't horde al a stores stock, mainly runes sptres. it does reduce merchanting because you can not buy low at stores and sell for more at street prices. It is good becuase it damages/limits bots. We have wanted that for over a year now. Well done Jagex Goals achieved: lvl 99 Cooking, Fishing and Fletching.Surrey CC and Liverpool FC fan for life! Freesia
personally, im not so much worried about the runes as i am about vials. before this, my main method of making money was through water filled vial merchanting. it was beautiful. i could go to the farming shop, but all the plant cures i wanted, empty them, then fill them with water and sell them for 150gp profit per vial. now the vials are set to infinite, which means that the huge demand for them will now go down. i mean, sure, we can still sell water filled vials for a bit of profit, but it will probably only be for something like 20 or so gp extra. now i have to find a new method of making money. it will be tough to find something that can make me 100k in a half an hour without too much effort or skill :( Does it not occur to you that vial merchanting works the same way as what store bots do to our dear nats? Like them, you are just hogging all the stock of vials to yourself for solely profit. The people who needed small amounts of vials can't buy from shops because out of stock and probably not from merchants who usually accept sellers buying 1k+ at a time. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
Owned_Nex
for the rc point, i disagree. sure, inf stock, but how much each? 17. in my experiance as a merchanter, i can se!! for much more then the old 5 to 10 gp range, now i sell in bulks of 15 ea. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some? Doradoswim
I seriously don't think that the shop update has done anything except shove street prices down. Also, the runite items market seems to mysteriously be going up again rune scim were 15k a couple months ago, now they are back at 29k, (sorry if that was a little off topic  . anyways, you will still see those %$&* bots sitting inside stores buying away, as the runescape prices don't bother them. they buy the items to sell for real-world $. why someone would even buy an item for cash makes no sense to me.... :-k :-s :?: Thanks for reading my post :-#
