1.0 - Introduction

ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû I will teach you one of the fastest and most cost effective ways to train magic. With the elimination of effective PC training, training mage has become both slow and expensive for most people. One of the lesser known options is currently one of the best. Although it does require a lot of start-up cash, you can easily break even or even make money using my method. This guide will show you the process of training mage through bolt enchanting.

3.0 ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Supplies Needed/Profit

Although this method doesn't lose you money, there is a lot of start-up capital that is needed to train efficiently. The following list is based on making 10,000 finished bolts, you certainly may do more or less, but this is just for example.

Ruby Bolts

  •
    [*:18mr5o5i]10,000 Addy Bolts (300 ea) : 3,000,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]834 Rubies ( 2200 ea) : 1,834,800

    [*:18mr5o5i]1,000 Cosmic Runes (200 ea): 200,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]1,000 Blood Runes (500 ea): 500,000

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûTotal Cost: 5,538,800

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûSelling Price: 10,000 Ruby (e) bolts @ 600 ea = 6,000,000

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûProfit: 461,200

Diamond Bolts

  •
    [*:18mr5o5i]10,000 Addy Bolts (300 ea) : 3,000,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]834 Diamonds ( 4000 ea) : 3,336,600

    [*:18mr5o5i]1,000 Cosmic Runes (200 ea): 200,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]2,000 Law Runes (300 ea): 600,000

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûTotal Cost: 7,136,000

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûSelling Price: 10,000 Diamond (e) bolts @ 775 ea = 7,750,000

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûProfit: 614,000

4.0 ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Obtaining Items Needed

Although it seems like commons sense, always remember that the RSF is your friend!

Addy Bolts

addbltjs1.png

Rubies and Diamonds

gemsdn5.png

I think you get the clue for the runes you will need :P

__________________________________________________________________________

5.0 ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Getting it all done

First: Cut your precious gems into gem tips

cutvy5.png

Second: Attach the gem tips to your bolts

attkl1.png

Finally: Enchant the finished bolts!

enchpv3.png

Its as easy as that! :woot:

__________________________________________________________________________

6.0 Experience

All experience is based per 10,000 bolts once again, to find the amount for other amounts just divide by 10,000 and multiply by the number of bolts you want to do

Ruby Bolts

  •
    [*:18mr5o5i]Magic: 59,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]Fletching: 63,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]Crafting: 70,890

Diamond Bolts

  •
    [*:18mr5o5i]Magic: 67,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]Fletching: 70,000

    [*:18mr5o5i]Crafting: 89,655

The magic xp per hour can be quite significant when set apart from the preparation time. It is easy enough to find people that will put together the unfinished bolts for the supplies for the fletching and crafting xp. Right now I will do that work for you for the XP if you elect not to.

When JUST enchanting I have averaged 1,350 casts per hour. This means that by crafting Ruby Bolts you can achieve upwards of 80,000 xp per hour, and with Diamond Bolts you can get over 90,000 xp per hour. This is much faster than the alternatives, and you make money doing it!

7.0 - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How easy is it to sell 1000 Diamond bolts (e)? How much time is wasted buying and selling?

ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû A: Of course it depends on the time of the day and amount of people on, but there is currently a high desire for them for the god wars dungeon. I would reccomend keeping a thread bumped while you make them, but would allow for 15 minutes per 1k sold based on what i've noticed in the forums. Buying shouldn't be any problem at all, should be able to get it all bought in 15 minutes pretty easily.

Now could you be perfectly honest with me and tell me what the main disadvantages of this method are? This looks interesting, but I'm getting this "this is too good to be true" feeling.

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

to be honest, the only drawbacks for me so far from it are

-it takes a long time to cut/attatch gem heads - so if you're just going for mage xp you gotta go through that first

and it can be a little difficult to sell such large quantities (took me almost 6 hours to sell 100k diamond (e)...but i was able to work on other stuff at the same time

Btw how long does it take?

forgot to time how long attatching and cutting gems was last time

based on doing 10k bolts (1k casts) at a time

cutting the gems is probably almost 2 hours

attatching the gems is about an hour

and less than an hour to enchant (1350 an hour)

id guess 4 hours for the process maybe a little more

i'm probably gonna do another few rounds here soon and ill remember to time the whole process next time
