October 23, 200718 yr I was just thinking that superheat ore is a much faster spell then high alch. How does exp compare? Speaking on a purely exp based side. What is better alch or super heat? SAme number of runes...

October 23, 200718 yr Author But how much more exp is it? What's the exp per spell? Superheat seems nearly instant while alch is LOOONG. I am just trying to keep an open mind instead of simply accepting the norm but its usually the norm for a reason.
October 23, 200718 yr superheating gives maybe 40-50 exp? and the regular exp for smelting the bar *just smelting the bar* to smithing and the regular casting exp to magic :D You are not alone, Our Father, God will always be with you.
October 23, 200718 yr alching is faster because you could have noted items superheating you need the ores i superheat like 600 addy bars an hours and could alch 900 bodies and alching gives more exp
October 23, 200718 yr Right, but you're also getting smithing XP while superheating, in addition to the 53 mage xp you get per bar. It is an excellent method for getting mage and smithing XP as a free player, and even if you buy your ores and nats, you can easily break even making mith and addy bars. I can superheat 800 addy bars per hour, netting 42k mage XP and 30k smithing XP per hour, while breaking even. Whereas an hour of alching steel plates might get you 65k mage XP if you can do 1k alchs, but you will also lose 100k if you buy the plates 1kea. Total XP from superheating is 70k+ per hour, spread across 2 skills, and total money lost is 0. Better than alching in every way. From a pure monetary standpoint on the mage XP (ignoring the smithing XP), the 65k mage XP you get from an hour of alching will take you approximately an hour and a half to get through superheating, but the superheating will save you 100k. So if the smithing XP is irrelevant to you, you are better off alching only if you can make over 100k in a half hour. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
October 30, 200718 yr Author What do you think? Superheat makes iron 100%. I am currently f2p so I would like it to work that way but if not I can wait till p2p again. Mine iron at...prally...Dwarven mines. Smith the bars at the near-by anvil into ummm something stackable or alchable. Idk but this might be great on how I can raise magic and smith with not to much cost. Plz help me complete this thought. I will brb on this one cause I g2g.
October 30, 200718 yr you can gain mage/smith xp for free if you have 70 smithing. Superheat addy bars, buy teh ores for 1400+(6x200)+300=2900. The price of addy bars is 3,000 ea.
