Because people are like that. You most likely have a keylogger, or some other virus that can record the keystrokes. The reason for this is that many people have posted saying "this person scammed/hacked me" when they really did not! The truth is we do not know if the person you say "scammed" you, really scammed you or not. Spreading this around the forums would give a bad reputation to someone who may not even deserve it! EDIT: the moral of the story? don't enter any of his links! Actually, the moral of this story of yours is don't be stupid. Chances are if it is too good to be true, it isn't. Also you seem to be misunderstanding what a keylogger is. Do you use internet explorer, by any chance? At any rate the highest chance is that you downloaded something, or the site downloaded 'something' to your PC. That 'something' was the keylogger, and the next time you went to log into your account it got the key. Later when the person got it they took your gear, quite easy really. Now of course you could have just entered your information, or downloaded something and just aren't telling us that part. Perhaps your computer is just not secure at all, if you don't download automatic updates and do not have a good firewall this can happen easily to you. In reguards to your last question chances are that is it. Get yourself a good firewall if you don't already have one, and to be on the safe side I would personally get firefox or opera. If you wanted to see if it was real you would have scanned immediately afterwards. The spyware you found may or may not be it, I don't know.
