Hybrid dking cannot be done efficiently alone.

Speak for yourself.

His trip was very interesting, but he got very few kills.

Lmao, watch it again - this time counting how many kills he gets.

Also his profit won't be halved or 3rd'd like it would be if he went with a team.

As said, for hybrids to efficiently Dk you need at least one other hybrid depending on combat lvls. For you to say single hybrid increases profit is true but also increases risk. With another hybrid you can get twice as many kills in meaning in theory you can get twice the amount of drops

dks are dead now TBH, the drops have plummeted in price so much and the drop rate is so low and theres so many lurers... its pointless to even go there... usually you spend more on pots than drops lmao. god wars = dks #2 from what i can see, but i dont play enough anymore to goto it.

Maybe for the higher end of the scale, 120s+ but for people like me Dks is waaay more profitable than GWD. I have been on many trips to Zamorak and Bandos boss and haven't got anything, sure the reward is higher if you get lucky but Dks is more solid profit.

in 5 dk trips 3 months ago ( i imagine its even worse now)

trip 1: (3man) got a zerker on first kill but a lurer came and messed it up.

trip 2: (solo mage) got no drops, no lurers.

trip 3: (2man, 1 mage 1 melee) 1 warrior ring and nothing else, 2 lurers came but both badly failed.

trip 4: (duo mage) lurer messed it up after TWO MINUTES (no drops ofcourse)

trip 5: (4 man, 2 mages 2 hybrids) 1 seers ring, 4 lurers came (!) and all wasted pots but the 4th one made us all tele.

after that gave up with dks forever, 4 out of 5 trips lured and like 3m in 5 trips, and cos of sharing i made 1m in total between 5 trips, prob spent more than that on pots/runes because theres so many lurers (would go asfar as saying theres more lurers than proper dkers) and the drops are so cheap now...

13 kills. A 3 man team with lower stats can get way more than 3 times that much.

I haven't been lured recently, maybe that's just me getting lucky or maybe luring has gone down I don't know. I think you got extremely unlucky on thosr trips because it is possible to make good cash from killing the kings. I don't know what your stats are but I'm assuming you have pretty high skills if GWD is that profitable for you.

If you think you can make a better game, go do it.

It's to make it more challenging by having to organize a group and making some sacrifices.

Just your typical asian who likes to play games =)

If players can singlehandedly beat fifty waves of high level monsters followed by the strongest monster in the game I really doubt there will be a monster worthy of being taken on in a team... Unless it is virtually immune to any single attack and has to be attacked with all three attack styles to hurt him. :-k

Hybrid dking cannot be done efficiently alone. You run out of potions if you have more than one king attacking you constantly. It probably can physically be done, but it's so horribly inefficient that there is no point.

I was referring to the Fight Caves and the Tztok-Jad, though luck wasn't on my side during Dagannoth King fights. My point is, if Jagex want to incorporate a monster that HAS to be taken on as a group they'll need to force it to be so.

They had it right with the Penance Queen but something more hazardous and defensive (as the GWD bosses should have been) with my other indirect suggestion (all protection prayers on unless attacked by at least two of them).

"300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"

Ok, that makes sense, but the problem is how this game is structured. I mean, this isn't world of warcraft. If we die, we lose a hell of a lot more so we can't have instances where a SLIGHT mistake will result in the entire team killed (like Leeroy Jenkins).

So for many things like dag kings, the question is not "can you beat them?" it's "how many times can you beat them in one trip?". Also, even if Dag Kings can physically all be solo'd, it's still one of the most dangerous activities on runescape.

Exactly, if you die while soloing Dks you can lose 5M of gear min, yet if you die in a fire cape attempt you'll 100k in pots and nothing else, making solo dking not only unproductive and risky.
