"El que no arriesga no gana"

Spill the beans for us poor folk.

Game just [bleep]-slapped my computer. Was running it on mediums with texture on high (1680x1050) and was getting lag.

Friends machine (8800GTX, ect.) ran it on all very high though 4x (or even 8x AA) just fine.

At least you have a computer that can run it at all. My laptop is an old Dell Inspiron ( 3 years) so it can barely run any games with graphics on low.

And it sounds like your friend has a nice computer :o :P

"Be Excellent To Each Other"

I downloaded it and played it. The graphics are amazing even on medium settings. The game play was decent but was really up to me expectations and the hype. It's really like a Farcry with better graphics and set in the future.

I wasn't too impressed with it on medium. I was still getting a bit of lag in this build, and I've ran much better games/demos (graphical wise) without problems.

Like I said though on DX10 full very high settings the game looks amazing.

Spent two and a half hours downloading, but it didn't support my video card.

Great Graphics, good gameplay.

I wasn't very impressed when I shot the baddies in the face and they were still standing :-k

"Be Excellent To Each Other"

I DL'd it at home on my Dell (ATI x300SE, 1.5gb, P4 2.8ghz), and suprisingly is ran ok. By ok, I mean its reasonable enough to get through the demo on, but if it were the full game it wouldn't be worth it. But I was extremely impressed that it ran at all w/ that low end graphics card from 2 gens ago, and a P4...

It does however give me hope that it will run very nicely on my main computer that I put so much overtime into affording (8800GTS, 2gb, e6400). I'm hoping to be running it at ~1280x1024, settings high and no AA. It should look nice and run wickedly fast. And if it doesn't, I'll get more RAM or overclock or something.

The gameplay is kinda neat - its not very challenging at all on anything other than delta, but it is a lot of fun to just be a superman. On delta its more like Far Cry where you have to plan out a strategy and use cloak pretty much all the time. This is fun, but since the suit is there, I want to make the best of it ;).

RAWR.

I looked on the system req. page and I've got everything for minimum, but the only thing holding me back from reccomended is my Vram. :( Only 256...oh well. I'll still try the demo. But does the actual game really take up 12GB OF SPACE? Dayum.

Nothings wrong with torrenting, its just a little slow if little users.

And btw you can check if your system can run the game with http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

just choose crysis from the list.

What exactly does the demo include?
