JamieMcMe
(This is copied and pasted straight from RSOF. Support pl0x? QFC : 27-28-55-53610973) Read it all, There is thought behind this rant (OMG! Thought behind a rant? The sky is falling!) Didn't your mum ever tell you to be patient? No one told that to King Lathas' messenger! I am Jamie Mcme, and I just got ticked off BIG TIME. After finishing underground pass, at 46 agility, I went off to spin some stray flax in my bank, when the King's messenger came and told me I could start Regicide! Of course I was very happy, i could get a Dragon Halberd and then go on for a Crystal bow! My clan chat is from a fan site, and I told them I had started Regicide, and I wondered why it was letting me start without the 56 agility requirement as stated in the Knowledge Base. I was only 46 agility at this time, so I was running around the barbarian assault course training the retched skill, until I got to level 50, meaning I could use elf equipment! So off I go, through the underground pass, no problem. i find my way to the elf tracker, and find the prints, I can now pass through dense forest! "Yay!" I thought, but no, all prepared for a fight with a level 110, I recieve this message : "You need an agility level of 56 to pass through dense forest" And I was like : "[removed] Jagex!" (Excuse the French) "Why did you tell me to help the king when you KNEW I couldn't? Do you like toying with me? Is it fun?" Now, I could go on and on like a little baby crying and whinging, but no, I am presenting my anger in form of a rant, and I have a good suggestion so that other people do not have the displeasure that I recieved. Now Jagex, could you simply make the King's messenger NOT come until we can actually do the WHOLE quest? Basically just not letting the messenger come until we've finished underground pass and have recieved level 56 boredom, I mean agility... Surely it wouldn't be too hard to implement? And in my opinion it would be greeted with open arms. If you read all of this, thankyou for your time. If you didn't, please direct your cursor to the "back" button . No. I fell asleep as soon as i got half way through cause there isnt thought behind it. But Cut to the chase... why it was letting me start without the 56 agility requirement as stated in the Knowledge Base. Not the only quest you know.... and its part of the ending. Nom
There are very few quests out there that don't let you start until you have the required levels. I don't understand why you would go and start doing the quest when you knew that the requirements say you need 56 agility. There is no thought behind this rant, because there was no thought behind the action that you are ranting about.

There is no thought behind this rant, because there was no thought behind the action that you are ranting about. I'm going to have to agree. Why on earth would you go ahead with the quest when you knew the requirements? The only intelligent thing here is the suggestion, which IS a good idea in itself, because it would save people like you from yourselves. :P
00hydro
I did the quest at 53 agility. Simply because of a good ol' agility potion. Had to bring like 10 (4) of them though

Omali
Ok so let me get this straight... You knew the agility requirement, didn't bother training your skill all the way up to that requirement before you began the quest, and now you're complaining...about what? That your skill wasn't high enough? Does that really make sense?

Why do you feel the need to disagree and not see the TRUE side to the story? I mean, if that happened to me I would think: "Runescape is Runescape! This is the truth. If anything this kbase quest guide must have made a typo...Jagex would probably be more careful with spelling errors etc in the game then a part of the site where not as many people visit." ortiz9471
Now, I could go on and on like a little baby crying and whinging, but no, I am presenting my anger in form of a rant, tbh a rants just a slightly more organized form of "little baby crying and whinging" jagex lets us start almost every quest without all the requirements, why rant about 1 inparticular? and if you knew that the lvl 110 was coming up, you were obviously reading a guide to the quest. so you were reading a guide yet still not aware you need 56 agility? get over it

Read the dang post! He's not ranting about how he can't do it, you morons! He's ranting about how he's getting told by the messenger that he can do the quest, when he obviously can't! Locutus_Of_Borg
The game shouldn't tell you that you can do the quest if you can't! That's what he's saying. So if the game says, "Hey you have the levels to do this quest!" then wouldn't you believe that you can do it? If you're told "Congratulations! You're Woodcutting level is 10! You can now cut YEWS" wouldn't you go try it even though you know it's level 60? All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu...This is the truth! This is my belief!...at least for now. To clarify for you: Upon finishing Underground pass, the king tells you that he will send an envoy when it is time for you to do the next quest. You go about your business, and in a few hours or so the messenger randomly appears to say that you can now begin the quest. This is purely for story reasons. It was not possible to begin the quest until the messenger came. Once he did, you could start it. That does not mean that you have the levels to complete it. The messenger did not say "Hey you have the levels to do this quest!", all he said was that the king has summoned you and you can now begin it. The level requirements still stand. Everyone else here is speaking from experience. It's pretty obvious that you are not. So don't call us morons.
