November 19, 200718 yr wow jagex just loves the number 2 average time played per week 22 hours average age of jagex employee 22 Jagex launching 2 new games i found that funny however this does make me sad Runescape will be around for only 5 more years before they take runescape off as their main money maker does that mean it will become like Runescape Classic Kind of a scary thought if you ask me...
November 19, 200718 yr five more years at least of RS being their main investment focus? Makes me happy. :) hopefully they finish the quest stories and tie up other loose ends in those 5 years, but honestly theyre bound to run out of good update ideas so i think 5 years is reasonable. They are only saying 5 years because it will give them loads of time to get mechscape beyond alpha and to weed out the bugs : and autoers  Steam | PM me for BBM PIN Nine naked men is a technological achievement. November 19, 200718 yr I just hope my PC can handle two gaming windows being open at the same time lol.... wouldn't like to give up on RS for the new game. But the sci-fi theme is really tempting
November 19, 200718 yr WAIT! if they love thier 2 why are they waiting 5 years not 2? feel happy they aren't sticking to their 2's (even though they love to coun't in 5's) /kindaofftopic 5=2*2+2/2 ... its all 2's

November 20, 200718 yr Author Yes but as i see that 5=2*2+2/2 there the answer is 3 however use brackets then i get the answer of 5 5=(2*2)+(2/2) i have always been taught brackets 1st so to me i don't understand that with out the brackets, just how i was taught :)
November 20, 200718 yr Yes but as i see that 5=2*2+2/2 there the answer is 3 however use brackets then i get the answer of 5 5=(2*2)+(2/2) i have always been taught brackets 1st so to me i don't understand that with out the brackets, just how i was taught :) I know, it confused me too at first. Computers rate the sums differently than we do. for a computer * and / have the same value, + and - also have the same value, but lower than * and / so if a sum has more than 1 of any of these symbols, it will work them out in its own preference. If the sum has two symbols of equal value, it will work them out in order of appearance. I added the brackets to show how the computer does it. 2+4*6+2*2-15=x the computer will see this as: 2+(4*6)+(2*2)-15=x so it will work out the *'s first: 2+(24)+(2*2)-15=x 2+(24)+(4)-15=x then it will work out the "lesser" expressions: 26+(4)-15=x 30-15=x 15=x you can alter its working out of the sum by incorporating brackets into the formula: (2+4)*(6+2)*2-15=x (6)*(8)*2-15=x [it will always work out bracket sums first, in order of appearance] 48*2-15=x 96-15=x 85=x a totally different sum altogether, to a computer :P Of those who say nothing, few are silent -=Thomas Neil =-
November 20, 200718 yr Author I didnt bother reading all that mainly because im not a computer, so i don't think like that. Also the numbers he got were wrote in a article, so there was no reason in the first place to put it in the way a computer thinks. Fair enough if it was a equation for a computer but i don't understand why he would write it like that in the first place, oh well i take it niether of us are exactly wrong.
November 20, 200718 yr hmm in my country they teach us (I think in 2th grade) * and / comes before + and - so imo there is no other way then 2*2+2/2=4+1=5 ... iow there is no need for ( ) blue = first red = second
November 20, 200718 yr Author Same for us but were taught () 1st followed by the rest. either way were both right just taught differently. So we solved the confusion :D
November 20, 200718 yr there gunna release rs3 =] Mr Iddison was brought in from PayPal to expand the Jagex business and in 2008 it plans to launch a couple of new titles. All will be online games but, so far, the company is not saying any more about them other than that they will use the same Java and browser technology seen in Runescape. RS3 isn't new, nor is it two games. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
November 20, 200718 yr Well how would that person have gotten a Jagex mods msn, and he couldn't have ingame, as the mod would have broken the personal information rule. And if he got sacked how do you know what he said is true, there is NO evidence UNTIL Jagex confirms it. Have you considered that he might have known the guy before he joined Jagex? Rs Chat isn't the defacto way to talk to people, and you might want to bear in the mind the fact some mods do use IRC/MSN etc but under different names. Theres plenty of people who would be stupid enough to start rumours, and until Jagex mentions it on one of their sites i will believe them. As far as im concerned MechScape isn't even a MMO until Jagex said it is, there is too much crap going around to know what to believe. It could be nonsense, but I think it would be fair enough to believe him in this case. My point was, I and many other people reading this would consider themselves mature and have some belief in what he said. The evidence is there, and seeing as he did create a reasonably well known Rs fansite, I'd find it odd if he didn't know any Rs mods. I know there is a lot of rubbish going around, but I wouldn't be surprised if something like this was true. "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
November 20, 200718 yr Author well a screenshot would proove it, but theres no proof so theres nothing to say really. All i know is that according to BBC there will be 2 new games launching, what they are only Jagex knows

(Hence the new billing system to make it easier :)) It's called a "master account". Even if Jagex doesn't implement that, there's no way you'll get Zezima, unless you sign up within the first five minutes of beta. November 21, 200718 yr You never know those screenies could be the next graphical update. So saying there is going to be somthing big in January, could it be 1 of 2 new games, or even a new graphical update that looks as good as those images?yes that will be nice.a graphic update big time. road to 99 woodcutting |71 out of 99|
November 22, 200718 yr well a screenshot would proove it, but theres no proof so theres nothing to say really. All i know is that according to BBC there will be 2 new games launching, what they are only Jagex knows The patents, encase you missed them: http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm/t-find/t-find- ... rk=2432576 http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm/t-find/t-find- ... rk=2448627 http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm/t-find/t-find- ... rk=2403672 (Second one even has a title) And although this might not be entirely relevant, there is also some of the concept art on Thomas Woode's webpage (JaGex employee). I never said it was proof, merely evidence. I doubt they'd register 3 new patents and have artists start work on concept if they didn't have any intentions of releasing new game(s).
