I have 310 ppots that i made. I bought ranarrs 7.5kea and now I can't sell the ppots for more than 7.5 :$

You don't need prayer potions for barrows if you do it correctly so scrap that idea. Just save them up or better yet, use RSOF and w2. Eventually you will find a buyer :).

Pots never sell easy, that's why I train my herblore on pots I'll actually use a lot (mostly sup sets and sup energy pots). Whatever price you'll ask, don't expect to sell them in a day, but asking 7-7.2 ea will make it a whole lot faster. Just post it on the RSOF and do something else while waiting (flechting, herblore, FM, WC -if close to bank/tele spot-, etc.) Another option is to wait till GE comes out.

+1 You would want to get rid of them in expense of a small loss, then you have the cashflow to do other stuff.

Also try the pking worlds listed on the world select. Also, with the coming of the grand exchange, you should be able to sell easily.

1st check prayer pots prices searching Runescape Official forums (RSOF), if you write "selling ppots" - it can be reason then you don't sell they (i not sure), because when some person want to buy it i think they write "prayer pot" or "pray pot" or just "pray" - with word "Prayer pot" you will match "pray" search keyword too, just you need to check what name is better and after search return more and more correct results searching on RSOF and don't forget RSOF search engine search not only throught topics but in messages content too.

Name: "Prayer Potion", I will match search keywords: "Prayer", "Pray", "Potion", "Pot" because this name contain it, but if you write "Pray Pot" - then search not match "Prayer" and "potion" keywords ;)

1. In same way i have short topic name because is hardly limited and i will match if somebody write "Prayer potions" because in message body i have it ;)

 

2. Mistake is to write quantity in Topic - it space waste and if you sell partially not only all quantity you get situations when people PM to you i buy 100 - but atm for example left just 10 ;)

 

 

 

3. With potions is very important to understand then you get money not for potion but for doses, for example:

 

 

 

People sell Super Str pots (3) 4-5k each, but if you have not 3 but 4 doses potions, you need to count price with formula:

 

 

 

[4 Doses potion price ] = ( [ 3 Doses potion price ] / 3 ) * 4

 

 

 

If we decide then super str pot (3) price is 4,5k then Super Str pot (4) price is:

 

 

 

4.5K / 3 = 1.5K

 

1.5K * 4 = 6K

 

 

 

But practically you don't get price like 6K each for Super Str pot (4), just nobody will buy it, if you make 4 doses potions is almost are profit loss and time waste.. i say it from my personal experience, because practically you will sell Super Str Potion (4) for price like 5,5K each and you then loose on each 500gp then selling Super Str Pots (3) for 4,5k ea!

 

 

 

WITH HERBLORE YOU ALLWAYS NEED TO WATCH POTIONS DOSES!

I had the saem problem, I made 100 p pots (4) for 50 herblore, and couldn't sell them for ages, so I just had to put my price down by 1k, and then they sold easy.

Yes because people know something like then pray pot price is for example 8k and if they see topic list and see highter prices they dont analyse or it 3 or 4 doses just select where price is lower is just psychology and jus rare some player understand diference...

 

 

 

Then is very important if you have 4 doses pots in RSOF messages topics to write then it's 4 doses, like "Selling Pray Pots (4) 10K EA" :) but is rare helps anyway, but it better to write in this situation ;)
