December 27, 200718 yr personally, with such a "controversial" topic, i expected a better read. my mistake though. anyway, was hoping this topic would read something like, we can now really get back to the triangle. but why? in all fairness the pvp of this game has dimished to, a joke to some. perhaps now that the PVP aspect of the game can now get more intense, especially with the introduction of BH's strict rules, we could infact start introducing super armors that are hard to get or costly. in all reality, BH is somewhat at best, AS risky as the wilderness was. with the timers and lack of prayer related things for BH, i think introduction of new things that people would rather not die with can be exploited heavily. example, void knight armor with a dark bow and some dragon arrows, you are a powerful force the time and $ aspects of this set up could honestly be a good starting idea of how to develop future items. another thing is, we can now make dragon hide armor's have hugely negative melee aspects since they are so cheap, and introduce a slayers magical protection armor which might not be allowed into pvp areas. this triangle could become much more then what it once was, now if jagex explored these purposed ideas, the triangle might become much more well defined, however some may say summoning will turn this into a square. i dont think it will be that way, personally i believe it will just be a new definition to the fight. take for example, today in cw if you were barraging a guy with karils armor and a dragon dagger, once your spells splash and wear off, you might die quickly, however to make up for the lack of damamge during this time, your summoned monster could infact do considerable damages giving you the edge over a Dhide wearing warrior, in turn he probably could do the same. this game has clear potential for greater development that it once had.
December 27, 200718 yr The Wilderness did NOT have to be stamped out to stop RWTing. That's bull honkey. Still enjoying RuneScape?
December 27, 200718 yr The Wilderness did NOT have to be stamped out to stop RWTing. That's bull honkey. Weither you're right or not, that did not contribute much to this discussion. Give reasons for why that statement is true, prove it to us. Maybe you could find that someone else will change their mind to agree with you. Together, we (Tip.It'ers and 'Scapers in general) can find a way to prevent real-world tradeing and have the RuneScape with a wilderness that, apparently, people liked. When I see people say it, I pronounce it "poon" in my head. Makes more sense to me. My friend said it in real life once and I almost kneed him in the family-maker.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

Those were the goldfarmers RuneScape primarily had a problem with. Gold sellers like the ones on [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] will probably still use it, but with a much more limited degree of success due to a 24-hour-to-whenever-the-player-gets-expensive-items-back licensing restriction. No, it isn't perfect, but I think it's a lot better than the only "PKing" we have now. What I need from anyone who would like to read my suggestion is to build on it. The point is that while goldfarming wouldn't be completely stopped by such measures, it would certainly be hobbled in such a way that players could still have fun while the traders would be severely limited in their capabilities. Still enjoying RuneScape?
December 27, 200718 yr I think jagex will give them drops, but they are testing it for right now to see how dangerous it is right now. But if there is drops worth getting then people would go hunting for them which in turn would make the wild less dangerous.
December 27, 200718 yr The summoning skill ought to make these revenant guys more manageable, unless they learn how to summon things themselves. One big difference between revenants and pkers is that pkers would attack each other.

One big difference between revenants and pkers is that pkers would attack each other. But with the 12 lvl boost to our levels, the monsters will probably be able to be up to lvl 138... If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
December 27, 200718 yr It looks like Jagex made the revenants' drops similar to pkers: Dds- 1 itemer 230 Bloods- Ancient mage Glory- Rc'er
