Ya, i know this has been around for a while, but whats your opinion? I say for example i hit a 19 ingame, i only get 25xps, whereas if it was say, a dragon battle and i hit a 19, i would get 76 xps. Why would Jagex do this? I payed big for this whip when they first came out, and i think it REALLY sucks that you dont get the xp you well deserve. People worked hard to get the 85 slay to get these whips, i worked hard to get the 27M i payed for this puppy. I think its only fair that WE all get the normal str xp. And i Really do want people who own whips to comment, not some lvl 70s beleiving its fair because they cant afford a rune large. Im sick of Jagex and their attempts to make things fair, RS isnt always fair, deal with it.

All true, it's about balance. Whenever JAGeX introduces new items, I think they do a heckuva job in keeping things balanced. It may not always be immediately obvious, but if you think of it, it comes.

The whip only has 3 attack modes. One is attack, one is defense, the third is controlled. It doesnt have a pure strength mode. Why would you pay so much money for something without doing some investigating first.

Hey, I don't make the prices, I'm just discussing the effectiveness of the weapon. I'm against the sale of phats and rares, but I suppose people can sell an item that's actually useful for whatever they please.

IF you want to train str just grab yourself a dragon halaberd, as it only has a good mode for training strength. PLUS, its a LOT cheaper.

Get over it, as said before you should've found out before hand. Also JAGeX only control prices of things in shops, blame those who sell them if you want to complain about the prices so much.

I don't think this is necessary. You can always use a sara sword, and besides, controlled is the fastest way to train.

The point stands, however, that you can't really pack in the power with a whip that you can with any other weapon. THAT is why there's no aggressive stance

Is it on controlled? Oh and whats a rune large? I did own a whip,but it dosent matter if I do or not because anyone who knows that to train str on a whip you only get 1.3x the damage done.
