my location is just a funny place, I'm from the capital of Minnesota. I work at a construction store and work outside most of the time.

I never get cold (was -5 one day last week and was just fine working outside). right now its pretty warm ... today was like 29 as a high I believe.

I wear shorts all the time when i'm not at work even when its -30 out.

I'm nicknamed the "penguin" (reason its put to antarctica for place).

Maybe it just wanted to burrow in your skin and hibernate through the winter where it'd come out with 3 baby metal pieces, which would turn into a computer, which would be used by some gold farmers in China to ruin RuneScape more.

Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D

When the adrenaline and the endorphins kick in during exercise you tend to block out pain, which is why injuries tend to hurt more after the match/run. I've cut my leg on brambles when running and not noticed until I got back, stuff like that, you barely even feel it at the time.

Well, i once steped on a nail, wearing nothing but socks(at home). I remember, that it hurt sooo bad, there wasnt any infection.Another time i got a splinter in my foot. Nothing special, right? But after 2 days, because of little splinter i had to go to hospital, since there was a bad infection.

Oh and when i felt of my bike, i somehow managed to get cut by the bikes gear wheel (idk if its realy called like that in english), didnt hurt much (adrenaline ftw!), but it took long time to heal

Anyways what can i say, be carefull when youre running...

I find it somewhat funny. The sad truth though is that people have those type of diseases. I'm random though ill joke about anything.

maybe the reason america has alot of fat people is because nails scare people into not running. Man i'm smart, I should write one of those books with the pictures.

Is this topic a joke? getting checked for infections for a 3/4 inch piece of metal?

Am I the only one who thinks this was an excuse for the OP to tell us that he runs 4 miles everyday?

Not really, cynicism is quite common, you see.

Should've cleaned it with vodka-soaked piece of towel. =)

I don't see anyone caring that he ran 4 miles. everyone is discussing the injury.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.
