RWT Vs Lootshare

The loot share that Jagex states they are looking at fixing?

Yeah, that LootShare. Instead of ranting about it, why don't we have suggestions on how to improve this. Jagex have admitted that their updates aren't perfect, but necessary.

If you read the latest news on http://www.runescape.com, they will tell you this.

Well they could start by having it not give 80%+ of the loot to one person. Frankly this doesn't bother me one bit except if they plan to eliminate unbalanced trading.

I liked the suggestion I saw from one place.

Basically, you take the item, for example lets use a Dragon Axe. You get off you're trip with 3 friends and someone has the axe. One player volunteers to sell the item and another person puts up the money (market value) for the axe, the money gets split among the 3 people and one player gets the axe and sells it.

I don't think that was it exactly, but it was something along those lines.

I posted a fix for this a few days ago.

This is how JageX can fix the group killing issue were people can't share the big drops of a trip.

(Like going to bandos, one guy receives bandos hilt but can't share the 40mil with the others in the group)

-------------------------------------------------------------

Lootshare fix.

Lets say 4 people go lootshare. A, B, C and D.

Every lootshare session is a new session, Instead of how it is now were your lootshare score is always remembered.

So person A get a dragon axe from DK's. Thats the only high level drop for their session. They all tele out. Now. The total value of all their drops for that session was 3.500.000 gp.

While still in lootshare mode (no one of them have turned it off) these people can now do a "split trade". Activated by everyone standing in the same area and right clicking the lootshare icon and select "Splittrade". Everyone in the area (thats in the lootshare group) will receive splitttrade request.

The total value of the trip was 3.500.000 gp. So thats the maximum that can be put up in the system. Pleyer A who got the dragon axe put up 3.1 mil. When everyone accepts the money put up by player A will be shared equally by all the members of the lootshare group.

A few things to note how to resolve abuse:

Only people in the AREA when the drop happen will add it to its score.

Logging out or turning drop trade off will reset your counter. (Leaving a clanchat will also result in your counter being reset.)

If your drops only counted for 10 000gp of the total value of 3.500.000gp on the trip you will ONLY be able to put up 10 000gp in the trade.

This is the best idea i have heard so far

monster hunting can easily be fixed by using "stakes." Stakes, meaning "investments," would be split among all people in a clan chat in a combat area (kq lair, dks, etc.) At the end of the trip (when the first player leaves the area) all players would be told of the cash they made during the trip. Each player can decide to "sell" or "buy" their stakes. If I recieved a dragon axe drop (worth 3 mill) and had 2 other people with you, each participant would recieve a "certificate" entitling them to a third of an axe. No person would hold a physical certificate, rather the game would show the total value of "certificates" accumulated. Any player can buy out the drops of another (by me paying 2 mill, I could recieve the dragon axe) or they could sell their drops on the GE collectively.

i like this one best :) it makes it easyer to code and can be done better then others and be 100% fair

The following statement is true. The previous statement is false. 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time

Yeah, I like it too! It is fair and wouldn't be to hard for Jagex to do.
