ok today i had been wcing for hours and i managed to lvl up from woodcutting 79 to 81 wc w00000t!

and i was wondering if i was able to train on yews now?

 

i also want to keep the logs, i need money

If you're going for cash, yes. Just xp wise, willows all the way. Yews do speed up at about 90 though.

ok but i am wcing yews atm and i got 20k of exp in like 20 min and with willows for that exp would take me like 30 min

Are you sure? I haven't heard of anyone getting ~60k exp per hour on Yews, not even on willows.

willows until 90 and the yews until 99 :)

You could efficiently chop yews at lv70 woodcut. If i'm you I would chop yew, but willow is still faster exp.

I think its smarter to get 85 on willows, then 85-99 yews for profit :

I would chop willows until 85, then switch to yews at 85+. Yews are not that bad though at level 75+ as autoers have been swept away, but it is not the fastest method if you want money and exp. O:)

I'd say woodcut yews at 90 or higher as you will get a good amount of logs at that level. I'd also chop the yews at the forest near draynor (4 trees) or the yews south of fally (3 trees). Anyways good luck :D .

Ok I was looking at the exp that each log gives and willows give 67.5xp ea and yews give 175xp ea, so yews give 2.59% more exp so by the time I cut 2 yew its the same as if I have cut 5 willows, and i get a profit with yews selling between: 395-420gp and willows 14-17gp (Zybez prices) but i drop the willows.

 

 

 

And i think that by the time i cut 5 willows i cut more than 2 yews.

Of course, you should train on yews. Now, i have a good suggestion for you.

 

1. Go to fally.

 

2. take fally teleport runes (for about 10 teleports)

 

3. go to melzar's maze. Under it, there are 4 yew trees very near eachother.

 

4. Take a full inventory of them (25 yew logs cuz you have the tele runes)

 

5. Teleport to fally

 

6. Bank

 

7. Repeat.

 

 

 

It is very good PLUS there are no autoers anymore :thumbsup:

 

 

 

You should go there. At your level, it would take you like 5-6 mins for a full inventory

 

So if you sell the yew logs 400ea(the normal price now), you can easily make 100k $ an hour and like 40k wc xp an hour too. Try it and you'll be happy of it, trust me :
