December 18, 200718 yr I reckon it's sort of glitched. 99 out of 100 times, I have no problem tellying out of the altar after I get telle-blocked. Every once in a while though (about two times so far since the introduction of the bot-pk'ers), the spell remains and I cannot teleport out: no glory and no home teleport. I think it has something to do with when the spell actually hits your character. I can imagine if the Zammy mage teleports you out just as the revenant casts its spell, that the game will count the teleblock as successful as you spawn inside the abyss. Comparable to a freeze attack hitting inside the abyss, having you stuck in place for the duration of the freeze. Also comparable to range/mage attacks, crossing the wildy ditch in the old wildy.
December 18, 200718 yr The problem is that programs do not have a concept of that 'rule' which discourages PKing Abyss RCers. Maybe Jagex felt that Abyss RCing was too efficient because of this 'rule'. However, I don't actually know how efficient is too efficient, neither do I know how Jagex would know either. Maybe Abyss RCers should just be that more smart about what they're dealing with. Maybe they should put in a reserve activity to whittle (yes, this is a hint) away the time while the teleblock wears off? ~ W ~
December 18, 200718 yr Wow, thats unfair. Tb/freezing/35 damage melee in f2p? They can only heal with swordfish, which are a rip off to buy.
December 18, 200718 yr Right on! screech - these rev things are really strong. They hit 35 easily and freeze/tb you. They atk you even when you are slightly off the minimap. They follow you till you are dead. They use range, mage and melee. Their mage hits up to 24 and range hits 20s. If within range, a lvl 126 rev knight hits a 35. Today I got tagteamed by a 126 and a 105 rev dark beast/knight. Double 27+ hits plus freezing. I died. I was near the graveyard where the zombies are and I see a mage attack hitting my guy with a 19. I know zombies can't hit that hard. Then 2 more cape and it was an 18 and a 17, so I know it was a renevant. Then I tried to run and teleport but of course the renavent TBed me. I didn't even see the damn renavent. Luckily, I kept my r2h, scimmy and addy plateboddy when I died and I only had 2 lobs on me so I really didn't lose much. :lol: RIP RU_Insane. December 18, 200718 yr Teleporting into the abyss negates TB as well. Not the ones from renevents, I've been stuck in abyss and couldn't tele out because of TB :? It seems that both scenarios are possible.
