Even though the bigger pouches degrade so bloody fast, it's better than no pouches at all.

I found myself doing this when I got 2 pouches. And You take 2 iventory places, for 9 extra essence. So totall of 7 extra ess each run. It's worth it!

- Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend <3:) -

normal rune = 28 pess

puched run = 35 pess (+20%)

The biggest degrade after 30 use or so. You can tele Edge, rune to the mage and tele back to your pess mining bank (with or without crafting runes).

During the run for repair, you don't need to wear the pouches (if you are afraid to lose it).

The time spent running there and being back is way less than the 20% bonus...

Oh baby light the dark side...

Always use max amount of pouches when ever ess mining, it will GREATLY increase your amount stored, up to 50 with the large pouch (small, medium, large, but not EXTRA large)

Yeah, use all the pouches.

And since you're using pouches you must be member, so you'll get pure essence (unless you're low miner). So mine until they degrade, then use the abyss to repair and the same time craft the best runes you can that require pure essence. (Not worth it to make the simple elemental runes :S ) ::'

Many thanks for your courteous outburst.

In more words so that you finally do get my point;

1) Fresh pouches are indisputably a time saver. Use them whenever essence mining or runecrafting.

2) The larger pouches degrade faster than the smaller ones.

3) Even a degraded pouch is better than no pouch at all, having a reduced capacity but always greater than 1.

4) Getting pouches fixed is a snap in the abyss. However you have to decide whether it's worth the time as you're still getting degraded pouch benefit. I generally wait until the large and medium have both degraded before hopping off to Edgeville.
