Personally, the rune plate has more than served me well and I was able to complete all the quests with it. The stat improvement of the granite plate over the rune plate is small but not extremely significant to make it a worthwhile purchase. I suggest getting a helmet such as a Berserker helm or the Helm of Neitiznot instead and maybe one of the higher level gloves from the Recipe for Disaster chest. Depending on the Granites price, and if you're using it for somthing you will or may die on, I say rune then. But if it's somthing you can recover it from, Granite. Hey now, Keep calm, No need to Start up any flames or Debates. Like The others have said before me, Go with whichever fits your purpose more. Do you wish to spend more with a little better stats?
