dargonhuman
Yes, before anyone flames me or shoots me down or calls me a noob, I know many other people have suggested a game clock for RS before on many other sites and such, and I know that people keep saying that "it would be too hard to program" or "it would be too hard to coordinate" or whatever, but I wonder why? Why would it be so hard to make the RS time coincide with the GMT for all worlds and timezones? I can understand how it would be hard to make an RS clock to display "proper time" for every timezone, but why bother? The point of having a Runescape clock would be to make coordinating things like parties and wars easier. Instead of saying "Drop party, World 1, 11pm Eastern Time!" you could say "Drop party, World 1, 23:00 RS time!" Then, someone in the Pacific zone wouldn't have to figure out how many timezones that is away and factor in daylight savings and all that other baloney; they'd just log in at 23:00 RS time. Of course, this would be pointless unless Jagex put the "current RS time" on the front page so instead of having to login and out a hundred times just to check the RS clock, you can just connect to the main page and find out from there. --Darg-- Part of the Star Traks network. wallyweams
You would still have to do a time zone conversion, but it would make it a little easier.

calum12
I seem to remeber Jagex stating they were going to add in weather and other effects after they updated their engine. maybe time (day and night too?) But good idea. Hmmm.... I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later. Probably.
Rmstn1580
So you mean just a clock timed to what ever time it is at Jagex hq? If so, they could just have it display that time for everyone in every time zone under the "Tools" menu in the game.
HoMM88
A bump is still better than a new thread. Support! dsavi
You would still have to do a time zone conversion, but it would make it a little easier. Haha. Timezones are built into Java. It just gets your timezone (I don't know what through) and displays it. Doesn't support, I hate looking at that time, don't ask.
