Sbrideau
Hi, I currently have a GeForce 7300 LE graphic card, and since the fan on it is broken (stille turns, it's the bearing that's broken) and since I don't really need a better card, I'm still wandering if I SHOULD just replace the fan (calling the company and putting it on the warranty) or completely replace the card with a better one. If you say a better one, I would like it if you say which card is the good one to buy. Note: I have a limited budget and I don't go often on full screen games. MageUK
If you have a limited budget then please tell us what the limit is so we can make some recommendations. If you are on a very limited budget then just warranty the card - why pay when you can replace that free of charge? I see little point in buying a newer card if you rarely play intensive games or intend to in the near future.
Sbrideau
The budget I have is around $150 CaD. I still can go higher as I have a job and living alone and all. I just don't like going higher than that for a card.
Bac_Talan
How about an 8400 GS for $35 USD? I once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.Pics or it didn't happen. I hate my generation.

lordkafei
This is why I avoid graphics cards with built-in fans, FWIW. How much memory are you looking for? The 128s are dirt cheap lately. Sbrideau
Well, I'd say 256 since most games now need that or more. Waiting for more answers :P.

AlexDT
It depends what you're going to use it for. I've been using a run-of-the-mill Dell pc, with a Radeon X1300. I salvaged a few dell parts, and bought a new GeForce 8800GTS 512mb (along with a new psu :( ) and I've noticed a huge difference in framerates. If you're just going to be doing some word processing or Runescape playing, I'd suggest you just get a replacement fan. However, if you're going to get something that you're going to use for a while, may as well go for quality! It also depends on whether you can fit any card in your case, or just low-rise ones. (This depends on your motherboard and case)
JoeDaStudd
This is the best card for the money $89.99 CaD. Should play most games on medium settings and older ones on high. Its a big boost from the 7300, although if your looking for a like for like replacement just buy new fan or send it back under warranty.
