What do you mean rune for a visage? Do you have any idea of the time it might take you to find one? There's a great deal of luck in all of that. Players have spent over 10k black dragons without a visage drop. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

January 15, 200818 yr @aoe325, he probably means runes to cast bolt spells (?) @MyWay091093, probably Fighter Torso. I think if you get a Visage soon, use assist and make a DFS, sell and buy a Santa. They seem to be on the rise again.

January 15, 200818 yr Firstly if you get a Vissage I would say keep it and use the assist system to turn it into a DFS. Its the best shield in game, why not keep it?. Secondly, I sure hope you are killing metals for it. Black drags are a waste of time except to the extremely lucky. Metals are the only thing that you can kill with consistency and frequency as well as having other good drops, not just Vissages. --- Okay with that said. If it is your absolute intension to sell the Vissage. I would have to say don't buy a BGS. Unless you will have money afterwards to have in case you need it. Since you said you have 10m already and a DFS is 28m the drop would equal 38m all together, BGS' are 39m. (At average market price... its 39,877,192 to be exact) That would leave you GP'less why would you want to do that? Okay a santa. Sounds like a good buy, but wait! Answer this, are you buying it as an investment or because you like the look of one and would keep it no matter the price?? If you are buying as an investment I would say best of luck with that don't expect to get a few mil off it for at least 6 months if not longer. The rise in price will be slow and steady and with summoning coming out soon, the price may see a slight dip before it goes back up again. It's not worth it; its only slightly better than Verac vs. high def Use your cash as capital for other sources of moneymaking (read: raise combat level), or merchanting. Until you get about 80M. January 16, 200818 yr I was very lucky. I killed 44 irons for slayer - no visage. My next slayer assignment was 14 steels. I got the visage on steel number 10. I used assist and made the shield to keep. When it is fully charged, it offers better defensive protection than a 3rd age kite, by about 10 def points per category! I kept mine!

I've hunted for one, and got a visage and 2 dlegs using 50k chaoses.. I got hacked, and need my money back, so I'm getting it back + mage exp. Please don't say that.

I might keep mine, or sell it and buy a gs for a bit. I'm hopeing for the godsword to fall while I'm summoning, and wasting my time to get the drop.
