"Hello from the 2008 Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards! It is our great pleasure to inform you that your artwork has been selected for the 2008 Minnesota Scholastic Art Exhibition on view daily January 18 through February 10, 2008 at the MCAD Gallery.

This year we received more than 1000 artwork entries. The eight-member jury conscientiously selected 57 Gold Key Awards and 111 Silver Key Awards totaling 169 pieces for the exhibition. Additionally, the jury awarded 129 Merit Awards to students whose work, although not chosen to be in the exhibition, was noted by the jurors as deserving of merit.

We would like to invite you and your family to the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony and Reception to be held on Sunday, February 10 in MCAD̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Auditorium 150. (Because of the number of participants, there will be two award ceremonies.)

Please review the attached list of MSAA awards to see your award and ceremony time. If there are spelling or other mistakes, please email [email protected] immediately. This information, along with the details of what each award means, will also be available at our MSAA website: http://www.mcad.edu/msaa

Digital images of Gold Key Award artwork and portfolios will be forwarded to the national competition in New York immediately following the exhibition. National student winners and their teachers will hear directly from the National Scholastic Office by mid-April 2007.

It is with gratitude and encouragement that we at MSAA extend a sincere congratulations for this outstanding achievement!

Thank you for your participation!"

Getting selected out of 1000 people is awesome!
